Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All Catholic Men in Malawi
*Dear Brothers in Christ,*
The Catholic Men Association Executive warmly extends heartfelt Christmas greetings and New Year wishes to all Catholic men across Malawi.
As we celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we joyfully proclaim the great mystery of our faith: *“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).*
Christmas reminds us that God chose humility, poverty, and love to redeem humanity.
In the child born in Bethlehem, we encounter Emmanuel—God with us—who restores our dignity and calls us to live as faithful sons, husbands, fathers, and leaders rooted in Christ.
*We invite all Catholic men to contemplate St Joseph, the just and faithful guardian of the Holy Family, whose obedience, silence, courage, and sacrificial love remain a model for authentic Christian manhood.*
May his virtues inspire us to protect our families, serve the Church, and contribute responsibly to the moral and social transformation of our nation.
As we enter the New Year, may the light of Christ guide our decisions, strengthen our commitment to prayer and the Sacraments, and renew our dedication to the mission of the Church and the common good.
*Let us remain men of faith, unity, integrity, and service, living witnesses of Christ in our homes, workplaces, and communities.*
We pray that the Prince of Peace grants you and your families peace, good health, hope, and abundant blessings throughout the coming year.
*“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will” (Luke 2:14).*
