1 Timothy 6:6-8
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

LIVING A CONTENTED LIFE
The motive behind this teaching was not to duscourage people from hustling to make a living, but to teach the doctrine of contentment.
When a person is contented with what God has given him , he lives a life of praise and worship to God.
There are reasons the apostle Paul cited for emphasizing that we should be contented:
1. Godliness plus contentment is very profitable v6.
2. No one was born with a silver spoon v7. We were all born poor.
3. Having basic needs met we should be contented v8. Meaning we must appreciate God for what we have.
It is selfishness to seek for more things when you fail to appreciate what you already have.
May the Lord release the grace upon us to live a Contented Life. In Jesus name. Amen. Blessed Sunday

YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER. It is very clear from this text that you are not an ordinary person, you are an overcomer. This is so because of the following reasons: 1. You are of God(from the seed of God, from the life of God, of the offspring of God). 2. Greater is He who lives in you than the one who is in the world. Therefore go out today and overcome the world and bring glory to God. Show the world the substance you are made of; Show the world the kind of life that you have. The main thing in this text is Our Confidence in the Ability and Faithfulness of our God. The God whom we believe in and serve has the capacity: 1) To start a new thing in us. 2) To carry on what he has started in us to the finishing date. Why so? Because He is an able God and very faithful in his nature. May this text bring light, strength, life, joy, peace and assurance inside you that all is well with you and it shall be well always. The subject in these two verses is The Death of Jesus. It is clear from these verses that the death of Jesus Christ has benefits, among them are: 1) . Salvation of our souls. 2). Access to his presence. 3) The secret of growth and multiplication of his church. Therefore I decree that the grace for the multiplication of your profits, of your produce, of your money, of your properties and many doors of fortunes, that grace is already at work inside you by virtue of your relationship with Jesus Christ. No need for by other blood sacrifices for you to get wealth. Jesus Christ is enough. Stay connected to Jesus and stay blessed for ever. Amen.

Have the Grace of Edifying others. The subject in these verses is about a man of God, called Barnabas. He was sent to Antioch where a new church had just been planted among the gentiles. It is recorded that when he arrived there he did the following things: 1. He saw the grace of God among them and was glad. 2. He exhorted them all to cleave to the Lord. We are told that he was able to do those things because of the following reasons: 1. He was a good man. 2. He was full of the Holy Ghost. 3. He was full of faith. As a result, many people were added to the Lord. May the Lord give us this kind of grace in 2023 as we avail ourselves for his service in his vine yard. This portion of Scripture shows us the works of God among people: 1. He raises the poor out of the dust. 2. He lifts up the needy out of the dunghill. 3. He promotes the poor and causes him to sit with princes. 4. He makes a barren woman to be a joyful mother of children. May the Lord raise you up to the top this year and cause you to sit with great people in Jesus name. May the Lord promote you in all areas of your life and fill your life with testimonies which will bring joy into your life in 2023 and for the rest of your life in Jesus name. When God tears the heavens and comes down, several things happen: 1. Mountains flow down at his presence. 2. His presence announces his name to his enemies. 3. Nations tremble at his presence. May the Lord cause all the obstacles in your life, family, business, and career flow down in Jesus name. May the presence of Jehovah announce his name to your enemies.
