Title: “The Spirit That Gives Life”

Scripture: John 6:63
John 6:63
> (NIV) The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.

*Introduction*
In a world that celebrates human strength, intelligence, and effort, Jesus Christ brings a sobering truth: “The flesh counts for nothing.” This statement confronts our natural tendency to rely on ourselves. It redirects us to a higher source—the Spirit of God, who alone gives true life.

*1. The Limitation of the Flesh*
The “flesh” represents human ability; our wisdom, strength, emotions, and self-effort. While these have their place, Jesus makes it clear: they are insufficient for spiritual life.

📍You can be educated but still empty.
📍You can be strong but still broken.
📍You can be religious but still lifeless.

Anything born of the flesh cannot produce eternal results. The flesh may impress people, but it cannot please God or sustain spiritual vitality.

*2. The Power of the Spirit*
Jesus declares, “The Spirit gives life.” This is not just existence, but zoe life; the very life of God, full, eternal, and transformative.

📍The Spirit breathes life into dead situations.
📍The Spirit renews weary hearts.
📍The Spirit empowers believers to live beyond human limitations.

Where the Spirit is present, there is revival, restoration, and divine energy. What the flesh struggles to achieve, the Spirit accomplishes with ease.

*3. The Living Word*
Jesus continues, “The words I have spoken… are Spirit and life.” His Word is not mere information; it is divine impartation.

When you receive His Word in faith:
📍It convicts and transforms
📍It heals and restores
📍It builds and sustains

The Word carries the life of the Spirit. To neglect the Word is to starve your spirit; to embrace it is to come alive.

*4. The Call to Dependence*
This verse calls us to shift our dependence:
📍From self to Spirit
📍From effort to grace
📍From flesh to faith

A Spirit-led life is not about striving harder, but surrendering deeper. It is waking each day and saying, “Lord, without You, I am nothing; but with Your Spirit, I have life."

Conclusion
The difference between a dry life and a vibrant one is the presence of the Spirit. The flesh will fail you, but the Spirit will sustain you. The question is not whether you have strength; but whether you are connected to the Source of life.

Closing Charge
Seek the Spirit.
Feed on the Word.
Depend on God daily.

And you will not just exist; you will truly live.

*REVENGE*
“Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord." Romans 12:19

*Reflection*
This verse is a call to a higher life.

The Apostle Paul, writing in Epistle to the Romans, reminds believers that revenge is not our assignment; justice belongs to God. When we are hurt, betrayed, or falsely accused, our natural reaction is to fight back. But God says, “Step aside. Let Me handle it.”

To “leave room for God’s wrath” means:
1. Don’t block God’s justice with your anger.
2. Don’t stain your heart with bitterness.
3. Don’t reduce yourself to the level of the offense.

>When you take revenge, you take God’s place.
>When you release revenge, you release God’s power.
>God sees what people did in secret.
>God knows the pain they caused.
>And God promises — He will repay.

Your responsibility is not revenge. Your responsibility is righteousness.
1. Let God defend you.
2. Let God vindicate you.
3. Let God fight your battles.

And when He does, it will be better, cleaner, and more complete than anything you could have done yourself.

*Prayer:*
Lord, give me the grace to let go of revenge and You as my defender. Heal my heart from anger and teach me to walk in love. Amen.

MORNING MEDITATION

Title:
> Overdue

Reading:
> O God, You know my foolishness; and my sins are not hidden from You.

Reflection
> At times we forget that the more we harbor something (sin) the more we accumulate damages to our spiritual wellbeing. The Bible tells us that God shall put into judgment every deed, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil (Ecclesiastes 12:14). It's pity we forget that God is very rich in mercy that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

> If something is nagging at you and making you feel guilty, don’t wait for years to confess it. Joseph’s brothers suffered decades worth of agony because of their unconfessed sin, but the shadows in their lives cleared up after they came clean.

> Proverbs 28:13 says, “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” A guilty conscience is a cruel master.

> Are you overdue for confession?

> We can be sure that any hidden sin in us will eventually display itself in an undesirable way. The time to catch it is now.

Monarchy is based on a Greek word that means “rule of one.” That’s what a monarchy is—a nation or state ruled by a king, a queen, a sultan, etc.

Uniquely, the Kingdom of God is ruled by the “King of kings and Lord of lords,” Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 6:15). In his Pentecost sermon, Peter noted that Christ has been “exalted to the right hand of God” (Acts 2:33) from where He awaits the time when He will return and establish His kingdom and rule over all the earth (Revelation 19). At that time, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Him as King of kings (Philippians 2:10).

Is Jesus the true and only monarch in your life? Better to confess Him now in anticipation of His return and rule.

On more than one occasion in the Old Testament, a king of Israel or Judah felt boxed in by surrounding armies. Vastly outnumbered, slaughter seemed inevitable. In such cases—when all human alternatives had been exhausted—the kings would turn to the King of Heaven in prayer. King Jehoshaphat did just that when Jerusalem was surrounded by three enemy armies. You can read his prayer in 2 Chronicles 20:5-12. But his last words are those which we should take to heart: “Nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”

When you find yourself boxed in by life, do what the kings did: Pray and ask God for His solution and deliverance.

When life feels directionless or chaotic, remember that God is still in control. He knows our needs and how to meet them. When we mourn the past or fear the future, take comfort in knowing that God has chosen us and has a plan for our future. He will work all things out for our good. No matter what our eyes see, the Lord still decrees, "I am King."

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17

"We must take action to be free. We must obey God's instructions and follow the Holy Spirit's guidance. We must put God's Word into practice, not just hear or read it. We have the power to reject sin and pray for courage to take the freedom that Jesus died to give us. Dare to take it and rejoice in all that God has given us through Jesus."

He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Proverbs 13:20

Let God be your guide and you will not stray from the path of righteousness. You will be like a tree planted by a river, bearing fruit in its season and never withering. All your endeavors will be blessed with success."

Title:
Temporary Troubles

Passage:
A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. Psalm 34:19

Inspiration:
In the Scripture (Ruth 2), Ruth was a young woman when her husband suddenly passed away. Her whole life was turned upside down with all that heartache and pain. It didn’t seem as though God had good plans for her.

> But being a believer doesn’t exempt us from great disappointments and hardships. One day God will turn your tears of pain into tears of joy. Delay is not deny, God is never late nor too quick to answer your hardest moments. There will be unfair things that we don’t understand, but this is where you have to trust that God is still in control. If you’re patient and don’t get bitter, God will give you beauty for ashes.
Ruth went out in the fields each morning to pick up leftover wheat just to survive. One day the landowner, a man named Boaz, noticed Ruth...

> Let the grace which was on Ruth manifest upon your life.
Long story short, they ended up falling in love, getting married, and having a little baby boy named Obed. Holding her baby, Ruth never imagined she would be that happy, that fulfilled. She didn’t have to work in the fields; now she owned the fields.
Obed had a son named Jesse, who had a son named David. Now Ruth is in the family line of Jesus.

> When grace of God is on your life, He will turn trouble into favor. God knows the conclusion of what you are passing through, cool my friend. You are a winner through Christ who strengthens us always.

Prayer
Father, thank You that no matter what hardship or trouble I face, I can stay in peace knowing that You will rescue me from them all. Thank You that You were with Ruth in her disappointment, and You are with me in mine. I declare that I will be patient in Jesus name, Amen!

Today may you focus on your goal not barriers in Jesus name.

Shalom!

Morning Devotion

Topic: Happy Person

Reading: Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord. I will say it again: Rejoice

Reflection:
God did not create you to live depressed, stressed out, worried, or frustrated. He intends for you to be joyful, peaceful, contented, and happy.

Take an honest look at your life. Is there joy deep down inside? Do you get up in the morning excited about your future? Are you enjoying your family and friends? If not, what is stealing your joy and causing you to live upset?

Brethren, joy does not depend on your circumstances; it depends on your will. To “rejoice in the Lord always” is a choice that you make. It’s a decision that you’re going to enjoy each day whether your plans work out, or whether they don’t. Sometimes, everything that can go wrong will. God is working all things out for your good. Refuse to let the negative thoughts play in your mind and tune in to thoughts of joy, peace, faith, hope, and victory. Believe that God is in control and always choose to be joyful. Joy is a free gift from God. Note that angry face is a playing ground of demons. What can make you happy can make someone angry therefore choose to rejoice always. When you rejoice always, You prevent over 15 diseases.

"A Prayer"
Father, thank You that no matter what my circumstances are, I don’t have to live stressed and frustrated and discontent. Thank You that You have made this day and I can rejoice and be glad in it. will choose joy because I know You are in control. In Jesus’ Name! Shalom

*May you go out happy and God will provide good things on your way. Make the rejoice in the Lord weapon over your enemy.*

God bless bless your going out and coming in. Amen!
