Southern Region of Malawi experienced heavy rains due to cyclone Freddy which resulted into floods. Over 200 deaths have been reported, 83,000 people have been displaced.

In response to this, the COGM Charity House is joining with Private Citizens Response In Kind Appeal to provide humanitarian assistance to people in the affected areas.

COGM Charity House is therefore requesting assistance in form of cash to purchase blankets for 83,000 displaced people and 1 blanket costs k6,000 each.

About eleven thousand(11,000) households have been rendered homeless due to the floods caused by the cyclone Ana storm.

It is of this cause that the Cogm Charity House, on behalf of The Cross of Grace Ministries Mw and it’s leader Pastor Tuntu aspires to join the government and all concerned stakeholders at large in providing humanitarian assistance to some of these displaced families.
