THEME: AN EXCELLENT MIND

SCRIPTURE: PHILIPPIANS 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

As one who’s born again, you have an excellent mind because the Bible says we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). That’s a mind that’s sanctified by the Word of God to think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, of good report, virtuous and praiseworthy.

An excellent mind doesn’t begrudge anyone but genuinely loves people. It isn’t a garbage dump for gossip and tale-bearing. An excellent mind is impermeable to negative information.

One of the decisions you must make for yourself is to think the right thoughts. Make up your mind to only give hearing to the right things so you can think the right thoughts. You must filter your thoughts if you want to live an excellent life.

Furthermore, an excellent mind is creative and innovative; it completely shuns mediocrity. It does excellent things as a personal policy; no half-measures. Don’t say, “I’m just the cleaner where I work”; let your mind soar. Become more innovative, forward-thinking, and inventive in the way you clean. Do some more research on the best cleaning techniques available. Then, most importantly, pray a lot in tongues about your work, and the Holy Spirit will flood your mind with the most creative measures and strategies to deploy in taking your work to the next level.

God wants to commit so much into the hands of excellent characters. Therefore, show yourself worthy through your appreciation and application of His Word, and you’d be excellent in all things and ready for the much more that the Lord will entrust to you. Amen.


PRAYER
Dear Father, I yield my thoughts and mental processes to your Word and Spirit, choosing to focus on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. I maintain an excellent mind that is creative, innovative, and free from negativity. My thoughts and actions reflect the excellence of my divine nature, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Dear Holy Spirit, I acknowledge You as my Helper; You’re always with me and in me. You’re my refuge and strength. I’m yielded to You, to be led, guided, strengthened and taught the things of the Kingdom of God. I’m rightly positioned in the centre of God’s perfect will because I’m under Your influence and sway every day of my life. I thank You for Your mighty angels working for me, and for giving me authority over the devil and his demons. Thank You for the victory of the Lord Jesus over the devil and the entire host of darkness, which was for my sake!

The enemy has no dominion in my home, my body, my finances or circumstances. Today and always, I thank You for the opportunities I have to preach the Gospel and reach more people with the message of salvation. Daily, I rejoice in Christ, knowing that I’m not under the influence or jurisdiction of Satan; I was born into God’s Kingdom of light, to show forth His wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of the Kingdom of God. I move with the speed and urgency of the Spirit, guided by Your wisdom in leading many to righteousness. I receive increased grace and ability to fulfil the ministry of reconciliation to those in my world, and in the regions beyond. SATURDAY, JUNE 29TH 2024.

THEME: DISTINCT PURPOSES OF THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY GIFTS.

SCRIPTURE: EPHESIANS 4:11-12

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

The Apostle Paul highlights the distinct purposes of the five-fold ministry gifts in the Body of Christ.
They’re for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Some Bible translations wrongly assume that the passage presents a single unified purpose, extending from
the first line to the last due to the lack of punctuation in the manuscripts. However, a closer examination, supported by contextual analysis and comparison with other Scriptures reveals distinct purposes outlined by Paul.

Some other Bible translations wrongly phrased the statement as "for the perfecting of the saints, so that the saints can do the work of the ministry, which is the edifying of the Body of Christ." But that's a misconception. Three distinct purposes for the ministry gifts are, first, to perfect or equip the saints.

Secondly, they’re for the work of the ministry itself. Thirdly, they are for the edification of the Body of Christ.
So, it's not stating that the saints themselves will edify the Body of Christ, but rather, the five-fold offices listed in verse 11 are responsible for building up the Body of Christ.

Of course, when every part of the Body functions as it should, the entire Body is edified. Ephesians 4:16 (NIV) tells us, "From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."

Also, Colossians 2:19 says, "And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God." However, in Ephesians 4, Paul directs attention to the distinct purposes assigned to ministry gifts for equipping the saints, the work of the ministry, and building up the Church.


PRAYER
Dear Father, I’m equipped, edified, and built up in the Body of Christ through the ministry gifts. I don’t walk in darkness, weakness, or live in stagnation, for I’m always fruitful, productive and abounding in every good work. Amen.

💫 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛’𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 💥💃🏽

Divinity dwells in my physical body! I’m a new creation, not subject to the elements of this world. I live the transcendent life! Divinity flows in every fiber of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body! I reign over sickness, disease, poverty and lack! I’m superior to Satan. Glory to God!

My speech is modelled in the direction of God’s will for my life. I declare that health, prosperity, victory, growth and abundance are the hallmarks of my life. I declare that my life is made ever more glorious, and I am supremely blessed. I walk in health, strength, perfection and excellence, producing works and fruits of righteousness. Hallelujah!

My potentials are limitless because I’m divinely endued to live the life of glory, according to God’s power which works in me mightily! With that divine power at work in me, I live above and beyond sickness, disease and infirmity.

I’m not moved by what I feel, see or hear; I’m only moved by the Word of God, which is my life. I am radiant with life and health, just like a tree that is planted by the stream. I don’t see the heat; I am impervious to the diseases that plague the ordinary man because I carry my own atmosphere. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

FRIDAY, JUNE 14TH 2024.

THEME: THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION.

SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 5:10

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

‭The Bible says in Ephesians 4:11-12 that God “…gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” Here, the Apostle Paul refers to the five-fold ministry gifts which are for the edification and perfecting of the saints for thework of the ministry.

Since these five ministry gifts are for the building of thebody of Christ and perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, then what exactly is this “work of the ministry”? First, it's important to understand that there’re two kinds of ministries for the saints: primary and secondary.

The secondary ministry involves edifying one another within the Church, that is, within the Body of Christ. This is often referred to as the “body ministry” or ministry within the body. But I want to draw your attention to the first kind of ministry of the saints, which Paul referenced in 2 Corinthians 5:18—the ministry of reconciliation.

There, it says, "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation."

The same God who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ has given us (the reconciled ones) the ministry of reconciliation: “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:19).

It reminds us of what the Lord Jesus said in Acts 1:8, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me...."_In Mark 16:15 He said, _“…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This is a charge to every Christian.

We’re His ministers of reconciliation. We bear witness to the truth that God was in Christ, actively reconciling the world to Himself through Christ's redemptive work, not counting men’s sins against them. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, I testify that you were in Christ, actively reconciling the world to yourself, not counting men’s sins against them. I’m an ambassador, and a representative of the Kingdom! The Lord is building His body through me, by my vital participation in the spread of the Gospel. Praise God!

I affirm that I am an offspring of the Word. Nothing is impossible unto me because as Jesus is, so am I in this world. I am energized and aglow with the anointing, and the grace and peace of God are multiplied to me through the knowledge of God, as I walk in and with the Spirit to impact my world with the Gospel. The wisdom of God guides me to talk and live right always; manifesting the righteousness of Christ! I have a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price. I am patient, compassionate and kind; and I demonstrate the love of God to my world today.

My eyes are anointed to see the best in people and the good in the land. I am strong and courageous; I refuse to be moved by the things I see with my physical eyes! I choose to see with the eyes of the spirit, I see glory, victory, success, and triumph all around me. I see with the eyes of the spirit, through the Word, my glorious heritage in Christ. I see my salvation, strength, courage, victory, and righteousness! Hallelujah!

My life is an endless stream of the miraculous because I can see through the Word that God has given unto me all things that pertain to life and Godliness. I give expression to the life of Christ and His nature of righteousness in me today, functioning with precision and wisdom in all I do. Today, I bring forth good things from within me because eternity is laid in my heart. I bring forth creative ideas because Christ has been made unto me wisdom. I initiate success, victory, and prosperity from within. Glory to God. Hallelujah!

💫𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛’𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 💥💃🏽

I walk in divine health, safety, wellness, and wholeness because I am in Christ. Christ is my life! His wisdom, righteousness, peace, glory, and joy are resplendent in me and expressed through me. I am guided in wisdom to walk in God’s perfect will. Amen.

I am the light of the world; there’s no darkness in my life! The law of the Spirit of life is working in me. There is no death in any area of my life or body. I’m full of joy, peace, love, and kindness, and continually filled with the Spirit of God. Hallelujah!

The Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me and gives life to my physical body. I’ll never be sick in my life. Health, strength, victory, and prosperity are mine now and always, by the power in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

God’s Word is life and health to my body. Its transforming power changes the circumstances of my life and causes my health to flourish. I live in the Word and I refuse to fear, be sick, or be defeated! I will not be subject to disease or infirmity.

I have the imperishable life of God in me; therefore, I live continually in divine health and strength. I do not get sick because I have the life and nature of God. The Greater One lives in me. I stand as a king and I reign in life victoriously. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!!!

THEME: YOUR BOUNDLESS INHERITANCE

SCRIPTURE: COLOSSIANS 1:12 (NIV)
…giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

You’re the seed of Abraham, and the whole world belongs to you. Only a Christian who’s ignorant of this will live a beggarly life. God said, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge... (Hosea 4:6).

It’s like someone who goes to an event with an all-access ticket yet stops at the gate to plead with the organisers to be allowed in. With your ticket, you don’t need to beg; just walk in and enjoy the party! It’s all about the ticket.

Jesus is your ticket to a boundless inheritance. The Amplified Classic describes it as unsearchable riches - wealth untold which no human being can search out (Ephesians 3:8). He qualified you for the inheritance. Hallelujah!

Then He said in John 16:23, …Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. In other words, not only did He qualify you to be a partaker of His glorious inheritance, He’s saying, “Use my name!” That’s your ticket to enjoy all that’s been granted you in Christ.

Part of that inheritance is sound health. The Bible says, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2). He wants you to prosper financially and be healthy enough to enjoy your wealth. How wonderful that is!

Wake up to this reality and say to yourself, “I’ll always be healthy, prosperous and sound. It’s part of my inheritance in Christ.” Even if your parents didn’t leave you any inheritance, Jesus gave you one that’s incorruptible, and the inheritance in Christ Jesus is greater. Praise God!

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for making me a partaker of your glorious inheritance. I live in the overflowing goodness, victories and blessings of the Kingdom. I walk in the glorious heritage and liberty of the sons of God, and I flourish exceedingly in every good work, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
