Thadar Consortium POVERTY REDUCTION
through CAPACITY BUILDING
and LIVELIHOOD IMPROVEMENT. The Consortium maintains a Program Management Team in Yangon.

The goal of the Consortium is to build civil society structures that LNGOs and CBOs can utilize to undertake bottom-up development efforts which will strengthen their local communities and reduce conflict. Working as a consortium, the local organizations are able to pool comparative advantages, share good practices and approaches to quality learning; set standards of accountability, transparency,

and inclusiveness; strengthen their collective voice, and develop effective approaches to achieve the shared vision of a just and equitable society for all Myanmar citizens. Currently, TC is comprised of ActionAid Myanmar, the Capacity Building Initiative, the Myanmar NGO Network, the Comprehensive Development Education Center and Pyoe Pin. The current local Partner Organizations are Ratana Metta Organization, Myanmar Baptist Convention-Asho, the Environmental Conservation and Livelihoods Outreach Fund, Swanyee Development Foundation, Myanmar Council of Churches, Yangon Kayin Baptist Women Association, Myanmar Ceramics Society, Myanmar Baptist Churches Union (MBCU and MBCU II), Nan Oo Teaching and Youth Development Organization, Social Vision Services, and the Thingaha Organization.
