What if the key to spiritual growth isn't striving, but surrender?

Throughout Romans, we see a God who doesn't leave us to figure things out on our own. He meets us in our weakness, strengthens our faith, and draws us closer to Himself day by day.

We'd love for you to join us as we explore the truths of Romans together. Visit joinbsf.com to learn more and find a group that works for you!

How has BSF changed your life?

For Leslie Rance, his first experience with BSF made the Bible come alive in new ways. Scripture that he thought he already knew turned out to have more to teach him than he could have imagined!

BSF's unique four-fold approach helps members go deep into God's Word - through daily questions, group discussion, a weekly lecture and notes that build on one another. God's Word has endless treasure to uncover!

Paul knew what it was like to suffer. He was all too familiar with persecution and hardship - and with the weight of knowing he once persecuted Christians himself. In those dark valleys, it would have been easy to condemn himself or believe that God couldn’t possibly love or forgive him.

But Paul knew God’s character and His promises. And he refused to let his circumstances or emotions cloud the truth. He was secure in Christ - not because of what he had done, but in spite of it.

If you’ve ever struggled through hard seasons, doubts, or self-condemnation...the book of Romans is for you. Visit joinbsf.com to study this book in community!

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans is willing to ask the hard questions, but its answers always point us back to God’s character and God’s promises.

Paul’s letter is all about the gospel. It addresses what it means to believe in Jesus and what it looks like to live a life transformed by faith.

If you’re a new believer or wrestling with questions about faith, Romans is the book for you.

BSF is so much more than just a Bible Study. It’s where we find our family, our prayer warriors, and our accountability partners. It’s where we fall in love with the Bible as we learn more about God. It’s where lives and eternities are transformed.

We are grateful for how God uses BSF in each of our member’s lives. What does BSF mean to you? Let us know in the comments!

We celebrate the life of Rosemary Jensen and honor her faithful leadership as BSF Executive Director from 1980-2000.

During her tenure as BSF’s second Executive Director, classes grew from 280 to 971 and The Life of Moses and Romans studies were added. But the totality of her impact cannot be measured this side of eternity.

We remember that we study and serve in BSF today because others walked faithfully before us. We thank God for Rosemary Jensen and her shaping influence on the ministry of BSF. While we miss her, we celebrate her entry into heaven to join her Lord and Savior. Please join us in praying for her family.
