Scripture – Psalm 34:8 (KJV)
“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

God’s goodness can be seen even in the little things we sometimes overlook. Every new day, every answered prayer, and every moment of peace is a reminder that He is faithful. Trust Him fully and watch how He continues to provide.

Scripture – Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

God never intended for you to carry every burden by yourself. When your heart feels tired and your mind feels overwhelmed, bring it all to Him. His peace is greater than stress, worry, and fear. Rest in His promises today.

Scripture – Romans 8:28 (KJV)
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God...”

Even painful seasons can become part of God’s greater purpose. Sometimes we do not understand why things happen the way they do, but God can turn trials into testimonies. Keep trusting Him because He is able to bring good from every situation.

Scripture – Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

The world will often remind you of your limitations, but God reminds you where your true strength comes from. Through Christ, you can endure hard days, overcome obstacles, and keep moving forward. Never underestimate what God can do through a willing heart.

Today, on this Memorial Day 2026, we pause as a nation to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their sacrifice was not made for recognition or reward, but out of love for country, duty, and the generations that would come after them. May we never take for granted the liberties purchased at such a high cost. As flags wave and families gather, let us remember the true meaning of this day — honoring the fallen, comforting the grieving, and striving to live worthy of the sacrifices made for this great nation.

Heavenly Father,

Today we come before You with humble hearts, thankful for the men and women who laid down their lives in service to the United States of America. Lord, we thank You for their courage, their sacrifice, and their love for this nation and its people.

We pray for every Gold Star family carrying the pain of loss today. Wrap Your loving arms around them and give them peace that passes all understanding. Comfort the widows, the children, the parents, and the brothers and sisters who still feel the emptiness left behind.

Father, bless our veterans, our active-duty military, our first responders, and all who continue to stand watch over this nation. Give them strength, wisdom, protection, and courage in every season of life.

Lord, help America to never forget the price of freedom. Turn our hearts back toward You, and guide this nation in truth, righteousness, and unity. May we honor the fallen not only with words, but by living with gratitude, compassion, and faith.

And above all, we thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ, who gave the greatest sacrifice of all so that we may have eternal life.

In Jesus’ precious and holy name we pray,

Amen.

Scripture – Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles...”

Waiting on God is never wasted time. Even when life feels exhausting, God knows how to renew your spirit and give you strength for another day. Don’t give up just because the answer hasn’t arrived yet. God is still working behind the scenes.

I hope this reaches someone who really needs it, may God help you thru anything that is weighing you down.... Please read this story about Proverbs 12:25

**Proverbs 12:25 (ESV)**
“Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.”

Jason sat in his truck outside the grocery store staring at his phone for almost twenty minutes. Bills were overdue, his hours at work had been cut again, and his mother’s health was getting worse. Every notification that popped up felt like another weight tied around his chest.

He looked around at everyone walking in and out of the store laughing, talking, carrying bags like life was perfectly normal. Meanwhile, his mind felt like it was drowning.

Just as he started the truck, his phone buzzed again. This time it wasn’t another bill collector or bad news. It was a message from his old friend Marcus.

“Hey brother, God put you on my heart today. Just wanted to remind you that you’re stronger than you think, and you don’t have to carry everything alone. Praying for you.”

Jason stared at the screen for a moment. It wasn’t money. It wasn’t a miracle. But somehow those few words broke through the storm in his mind. For the first time all week, he took a deep breath without feeling crushed.

The next morning, Jason went to work and noticed the new guy sitting alone during lunch, quiet and staring at the floor. Instead of ignoring him, Jason sat down beside him and simply said, “You doing alright, man?”

The guy looked up with tired eyes and quietly replied, “Honestly… not really.”

Jason smiled softly and said, “I get it. But don’t give up. Bad days don’t last forever.”

What Jason didn’t realize was that the young man had spent the entire morning wondering if anybody even cared whether he showed up anymore.

Sometimes we think changing someone’s life requires something huge. But in today’s world — where people hide depression behind smiles and anxiety behind social media posts — a simple kind word can become a lifeline.

Just like Proverbs says, anxiety weighs the heart down… but one good word can change someone’s entire day.

Scripture – Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Sometimes we want every answer before taking the next step, but faith means trusting God even when we cannot see the full picture. His plan is always better than our own understanding. Keep praying, keep believing, and let God guide your path one step at a time.
