APOLOGY! APOLOGY! KOALABATA

Following the brutal murder of two innocent guys (Moholobela and Kamohelo), some how Ntate Phasumane was framed on those accounts and was attacked daylight at his house by the people of Koalabata and the surrounding areas. The people were angry but their anger was misdirected to the innocent man. Very unfortunately Ntate Phasumane could not explain himself to the angry multitudes surrounding his house. His house was stoned and his family traumatized. Later the truth came up that Lehloohonolo Scott actually butchered the innocent home boys. Attension automatically shifted from Ntate Phasumane to Scott. However, the people of Koalabata did not publicly apologize to Ntate Phasumane( not unless it happened while i was away). Basotho ba heso, i think it is only Christian like and Bosotho to go back and apologize. I hope this will be in order with the family of Ntate Phasumane. Marena Le Baruti kea ipiletsa, ka bohlanka boohle.

The oneness of the Church of God in Lesotho can not be destroyed by the evil thinking on earth. Lies, threats and the evil attempts to demonize church leaders will surely be attended to by the Lord Himself in His on ways and time. Efforts to instilling fear on church leaders will not be dealt with by the church leaders themselves, while the country has serious issues to attend to.

Christian Council of Lesotho appeals for calm

The Christian Council of Lesotho (CCL) is deeply concerned about the current situation in the country.

The CCL is currently engaged in shuttle diplomacy with different stakeholders in pursuance of the real truth underneath and an amicable solution. We wish to remind the People of Lesotho their duty to uphold the principles of peace and good governance as enshrined in our national constitution to guide the nation.

CCL strongly appeals for calm and cooperation from all sectors while all the necessary efforts are being undertaken to bring along normalcy.

We therefore ask all Basotho to faithfully pray for peace in their churches.

The Christian Council of Lesotho exists to promote ecumenism, unity and spirituality among Christian Churches and organisations as one Body of Christ. It also exists as a prophetic voice in mediation, reconciliation and engagement in national issues. It advocates for provision of social protection and services in the reign of God

They say a Bible may be used as a weapon of mass construction and/or destruction. The media has similar capabilities. Is our media in Lesotho incline to construction or destruction?
