Established in 2021, Sing in the Spirit is a gospel platform that is spotlighting and celebrating the power and diversity of Christian/gospel music within
Montserrado and subsequently across the nation. Since it’s origination, the competition aims to discover and showcase, expose and encourage singers to share the gospel of Christ while individually showcasing their God-given talents in music. The competition is intended to also empower musicians with the necessary skillset needed to kick-start their personal ministries off the stage, unite the audience, the community and the larger society with the gospel of Jesus Christ, His love and the amazing works He can do through us. With 2 seasons gone, Sing in the Spirit have raise and expose over 20 young singers within the Christian faith to a larger audience and have equipped them with skills needed to boost their singing career and empower their ministries through wonderful songs. The competition has over the years targeted schools and churches youths raising resilience, self-confidence and positive self-esteem within the youth departments of several schools and churches that have participated in the 2 seasons held by this amazing competition. The competition is open to soloists of any size and style, as long as they sing gospel music, which can include traditional, contemporary, urban, or fusion genres. The contestants will be judged by a panel of experts and celebrities from the gospel music industry, as well as by the audience, who can vote online and through ticket sales. Mission:

To share the gospel of Jesus Christ through songs that encourage believers in their walk with Christ.
To discover and showcase the best gospel singers in and across Liberia, and empower them to use their talents and messages to spread the love and grace of God to all people.
To celebrate and appreciate the power and diversity of gospel music across different genres and styles.
To inspire and uplift the audience, the community, and the larger society with gospel music.
To raise resilience, self-confidence, and positive self-esteem among the youth who participate in the competition.
To equip the singers with the necessary skillset and opportunities to kick-start their personal ministries and singing careers.
