✨ YOUTH SPOTLIGHT & TESTIMONY: FROM SURVIVOR TO REGISTERED NURSE 🩺🙌
Behind every leader in our youth fellowship is a powerful story of God’s grace! Today, we are proud to share the inspiring testimony of our very own Program Chairperson, Sis. Marthaline Chedemar Gartor.
Read her journey in her own words: 👇
"From surviving cerebral malaria at age 5 to becoming a Registered Nurse in 2024, this is a story of faith and resilience.
At age 5, I was diagnosed with cerebral malaria and hospitalized for over a month. My recovery was slow, as the doctor said the possibility of my survival was low. Because I was often sick, I had to stay out of school and start later than my siblings.
While my siblings completed high school between the ages of 17 and 18, my journey was different. I had my own struggles, and a journey that required patience.
Today, I look back and realize that what seemed like a delay was never the end of my story.
If your journey looks different from everyone else’s, remember that your struggle may be different, but your story is still unfolding, and there is still so much ahead of you.
Now, allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Marthaline Chedemar Gartor, a Liberia-trained, dedicated, and passionate Registered Nurse committed to reducing preventable hospital emergencies through Chedemar Health Corner while promoting malaria prevention and mental health.
This is more than a title; this is my testimony."
We celebrate you, Sis. Marthaline, for your resilience, leadership, and dedication to serving both the Lord's house and humanity! May God continue to expand your territory. ❤️🙏
