I grew up with the mindset that calling your spouse by his name is a sign of disrespect or conflict in your union,

However, over time I have come to realize that it was just an orientation passed on by some of our parents, grandparents and elderly ones.

The truth is that, I can disrespectfully call my spouse, 'HONEY'

So you can see that it is not necessarily in the name you choose to call yourselves but rather, the attitude behind the names calling.

The way we are raised can affect our perception about marriage and It is unhealthy to build a law from it but rather, understand that no two homes are the same What you do is to carefully agree to choose the laws that allows for suitability in your marriage.

So tell me, what mindset regarding marriage did you grow up with or what mindset are you growing up with?
