Drugs Claim Another Life in Ganta

It was a seen of total surprise on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 19, 2024 when scores of citizens rushed in the Gblagbain Community in Ganta to see the lifeless body of a male who reportedly died as a result of the abuse of illicit drugs.

The deceased who is believed to be in his early twenties identity is yet to be known.

This brings to six in less than three weeks, the number of people who have fallen pray to the in-take of illicit drugs.

As public awareness continues at community radio stations mainly in Ganta City about the danger associated with the abuse of illicit drugs coupled with several arrests being made by Officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency, the abuse of these substances remains on the rise.
