“God is working behind the scenes, even when you don’t see it.”

Gabriel Magalhães is reminding us of something deeper than football.

Strong mentality isn’t just about confidence…
It’s about trust.

Trusting God is working, even in the quiet moments.

Baller For Christ – Morning Devotion

Theme: Walking in Discipline and Purpose

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 9:24–27; Colossians 3:23; Proverbs 21:5

The Message:
As a Baller for Christ, your life is like a race and a game that requires discipline, focus, and consistency. Paul reminds us that not everyone who runs wins, but those who train with purpose and self-control. In the same way, your spiritual life and your athletic journey must align. You cannot desire victory without preparation.

Every early morning training, every moment of prayer, and every sacrifice is shaping you. Discipline in the physical reflects discipline in the spiritual. When you commit your game to God, you play with purpose, not just for applause, but for His glory.

Colossians 3:23 teaches us to do everything wholeheartedly as unto the Lord. That means your attitude on and off the field matters. Excellence, humility, and perseverance are your spiritual weapons. Stay focused, your process is preparing you for victory.

Conclusion:
Today, choose discipline over distraction. Train your body, guard your spirit, and commit your game to God. As you stay faithful in the process, God will crown your efforts with success. Keep running your race to win, for His glory.

When challenges come, remember Philippians 4:13, you can do all things through Christ.

✝️ BALLER FOR CHRIST (BFC) – GOOD FRIDAY MESSAGE

Theme: It Is Finished – The Victory of the Cross
Scripture: John 19:30, Isaiah 53:5, Colossians 2:14–15

Message:
Good Friday is not a day of defeat—it is a day of divine victory. On the cross, Jesus declared, “It is finished!” This was not the cry of a victim, but the proclamation of a conqueror. Every sin, every curse, every limitation that stood against us was nailed to the cross.

As a baller on the field, you understand sacrifice, endurance, and discipline. Jesus demonstrated the ultimate sacrifice—He gave His life so we could gain eternal victory. The pain He endured brought us healing, the rejection He faced brought us acceptance, and His death brought us life.

On the cross, your past was forgiven, your struggles were defeated, and your future was secured. No matter the battles you face—on the pitch or in life—you are already fighting from a place of victory.

Today, remember: the cross is your assurance that God has already made a way.

Key Truths for Every Baller:

1. You are forgiven – Isaiah 53:5

2. You are victorious – Colossians 2:15

3. You are redeemed – Galatians 3:13

4. You are strengthened for the race – Hebrews 12:2

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the finished work on the cross. Help me to walk in the victory You have already secured for me. Strengthen me on and off the field to live for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🔥 BFC Charge:
Play with purpose. Live with conviction. Walk in the victory of the cross.

⚽ Baller For Christ (BFC)
Devotion

Theme: Strength for the Race
Scripture: Isaiah 40:31

Exhortation:
As a baller on the field and in life, strength is essential—not just physical, but spiritual. The journey can be tiring, opposition may rise, and challenges may test your endurance. But God promises that those who wait upon Him will renew their strength. When you feel weak, don’t quit—connect to the Source. Prayer, the Word, and obedience will refuel your spirit. Just like training builds your body, consistency with God builds your inner man. You will run your race and not grow weary. Stay disciplined, stay focused, and trust God to carry you through every match of life.

Prayer Points:

1. Lord, renew my strength daily as I wait on You. (Isaiah 40:31)

2. Father, empower me to overcome every challenge in my race. (Philippians 4:13)

3. Lord, help me to run with endurance and finish strong. (Hebrews 12:1)

29/03/2026

Palm Sunday is the moment Jesus entered Jerusalem, just days before He went to the cross.

He rode in on a donkey, not like a powerful king ready for war, but in humility and peace. As He came in, crowds gathered, laying down palm branches and shouting in celebration. They recognised Him as someone special… but many didn’t fully understand what kind of King He truly was.

They were expecting rescue from their situation.
Jesus came to rescue their souls.

That’s where the word “Hosanna” comes in.

“Hosanna” literally means “save us now” or “please save us.”

It wasn’t just praise… it was a cry.
A desperate recognition that they needed help.

So when the crowd shouted “Hosanna,” they were saying:
“Jesus, you’re the one we believe can save us.”

The powerful part is this:

They were right… just not in the way they expected.

They wanted a king to change their circumstances.
Jesus came as a King to change their eternity.

Palm Sunday reminds us that Jesus is not just someone to celebrate when life is good…
He is the Saviour we need, every single day.

BALLERS For Christ (BFC) Sunday Message:

Theme: “Playing for God’s Glory”

Text:1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

Introduction:

In football, everyone is playing for something—money, fame, contracts, recognition.

But as BALLERS For Christ, we are different.
👉 We are not just players—we are representatives of God on the field.

Your boots are not just for playing—they are for preaching without words.

People may not read the Bible, but they will read your life.

1. Discipline Makes You Stand Out

Scripture:
1 Corinthians 9:25 – “Everyone who competes goes into strict training…”

Message:
No serious player succeeds without discipline. You can’t train today and skip tomorrow. You can’t pray today and forget God tomorrow.
You can’t live anyhow and expect divine results

Note: 👉 Discipline is what separates winners from wishers.
If you are disciplined physically but not spiritually, you will still fall.

Character Will Take You Further Than Talent:

Scripture:
Proverbs 22:1 – “A good name is better than riches.”

Many players are gifted, but not many are trusted. Talent can get you signed
Character keeps you signed

On the field:

Respect referees
Respect teammates
Control your anger

Off the field:

Avoid bad company
Avoid pride

Live by examples

👉 Pay attention: The world celebrates talent, but God rewards character.

Let God Be Your Coach :

Scripture:
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord… He will direct your path.”

Note:
Many careers crash because players follow the wrong voices.

Wrong friends

Wrong decisions

Wrong lifestyle

But when God leads you:

You won’t miss your opportunity

You won’t enter the wrong team

You won’t destroy your future

👉 Before every match, ask God:
“Lord, guide my steps.”

The Plan:

If you want to succeed as a BFC player:

1. Pray daily (Luke 5:16)

2. Train seriously (Hebrews 12:11)

3. Stay in God’s Word (Joshua 1:8)

4. Walk with the right team (spiritually & physically) (Psalm 133:1)

The Actions :

Starting today:

Pray before and after matches (Psalm 5:3)

Control your attitude (Galatians 5:22-23)

Give your best at training (Colossians 3:23)

Encourage your teammates (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

Declare with boldness:

1. I am disciplined for greatness! (1 Corinthians 9:25)

2. My character will not destroy my destiny! (Proverbs 22:1)

3. God is directing my career! (Proverbs 3:6)

Conclusion:

Remember:

👉 You are not just a footballer—you are a Kingdom ambassador
👉 Your game is your ministry
👉 Your lifestyle is your message

Final Word:
Play hard. Live right. Honor God.
God Bless You All

Arsenal Striker Gabriel Jesus always carries his Bible into any game he plays. He was seen walking into Bayer Leverkusen doing the same

It is so cool to see players step into games with their Bibles in their hands.

BALLERS FOR CHRIST (BFC)

Morning Devotion

Theme: God Gives the Victory

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Message:
In football and in life, victory does not only come from skill, strength, or strategy. True victory comes from God. Just as players train, prepare, and remain disciplined on the field, believers must remain spiritually disciplined through prayer, faith, and obedience to God.

There will be tough matches in life—moments of pressure, setbacks, and challenges. But remember, God is the ultimate coach who directs our steps and gives us strength to overcome every opposition.

When you trust God, play your part faithfully, and remain focused on His purpose, He will crown your efforts with victory.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. Help every footballer, coach, and fan to trust You in every season of life. Strengthen us to remain disciplined, focused, and faithful. May our talents bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration:
Today, I declare that I am victorious through Christ. My gifts, my career, and my life will bring glory to God. I will win on and off the field in Jesus’ name. ⚽🙏

“God is sovereign, rich in mercy and full of grace.”

Dani Alves shared these words, pointing to a truth bigger than football and bigger than any season.

Sovereign means God is still in control. Not surprised. Not shaken. Not overruled.
Rich in mercy means we are not treated as our mistakes deserve.
Full of grace means His favour is a gift, not something earned.

In a sport built on performance, this message shifts the focus. It reminds us that faith is not about status or silverware. It’s about trusting a God who rules with mercy and leads with grace.

BALLERS FOR CHRIS (BFC). FIRST SUNDAY IN MARCH MESSAGE:

Title: “Press Toward the Goal”
Text: Philippians 3:13–14

The Message

In football, focus determines victory. In Christ, focus determines destiny. The Apostle Paul declares in Philippians 3:14, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” As players, coaches, and leaders, we are not just chasing trophies — we are pursuing purpose.

Like David faced Goliath (1 Samuel 17:45), we face pressure, temptation, and distractions. But victory comes when we remember Romans 8:37 — “We are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

Your gift is not just talent; it is ministry. Colossians 3:23 reminds us to play and serve “as to the Lord.”

The Plan:

1. Stay spiritually fit (1 Timothy 4:8).

2. Build godly character on and off the field (Proverbs 22:1).

3. Represent Christ boldly (Matthew 5:16).

The Actions:

> Pray before every game.

> Encourage teammates.

> Reject ungodly behavior.

Conclusion:

This March, we press forward — not just for goals on the field, but for souls in the Kingdom. The whistle will blow one day; make sure you finish strong (2 Timothy 4:7). ⚽✝️
