If you want to see how destructive and ugly sin is, look at the Cross.It shows you the price that had to be paid. But if you want to see how limitless and beautiful God's love is, look at that same Cross. It shows you how far He was willing to go to get you back. ✝️

​Today, we sit in the silence of that sacrifice. The Cross is the ultimate mirror. it shows us the weight of our debt and the depth of His mercy.❤‍🔥

The beauty of the Last Supper isn’t found in the perfection of the guests, but in the radical reach of the Host. Jesus didn’t just wash the feet of the faithful; He knelt before the one who would betray Him and the one who would deny Him, feeding them both. It is a staggering reminder that the Table isn’t a reward for the righteous, but a lifeline for the broken. If there was a seat for Judas and Peter, there is surely a place for you and me...🥀
අන්තිම රාත්‍රී භෝජනයේ සුන්දරත්වය ඇත්තේ එහි සිටි අමුත්තන්ගේ පරිපූර්ණත්වය මත නොව, සත්කාරකයාණන්ගේ (ජේසුස් වහන්සේගේ) අසීමිත ප්‍රේමය තුළය. උන්වහන්සේ තමන්ට විශ්වාසවන්තව සිටි අයගේ පාද පමණක් සෝදා හැරියේ නැත; තමන්ව පාවා දෙන තැනැත්තා සහ තමන්ව ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කරන තැනැත්තා ඉදිරියේ පවා දණින් වැටී ඔවුන් දෙදෙනාටම පෝෂණය ලබා දුන් සේක. එය අපට ලබා දෙන ප්‍රබල මතක් කිරීමක් වන්නේ, මෙම 'භෝජනය' යනු යහපත් අයට දෙන ත්‍යාගයක් නොව, බිඳුණු සිත් ඇති අය වෙනුවෙන් පිරිනමන ජීවනාලියක් බවයි. එදා ජූදස් සහ පේදුරු වෙනුවෙන් එහි ඉඩක් තිබුණේ නම්, ඔබ සහ මා වෙනුවෙන්ද එහි අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම ඉඩක් ඇත..." 🥀

As you celebrate this anniversary, we recognize your role as a mediator of grace, standing in the gap for your people. May the Divine Shepherd strengthen your soul as you continue to offer yourself for the salvation of souls and the glory of the Kingdom.✨

✨ ග්‍රෙචියෝ - විශ්වාසයට ජීවය දුන් අසිරිමත් ගවලෙන 🍂

​නත්තල් ගවලෙන යනු හුදු සැරසිල්ලක් නොව, මීට වසර 802කට පෙර අසීසියේ ශුද්ධවූ ෆ්‍රැන්සිස් තුමන් විසින් ග්‍රෙචියෝහි ගල්ගුහාවක් තුළ පණ ගැන්වූ "ජීවමාන සුභාරංචියකි". සැබෑ ගව ඔරුවක් සහ සතුන් ඇසුරින් උන්වහන්සේ එදා උත්සාහ කළේ, දෙවියන් වහන්සේ මාංශගතවීමේ අසිරිමත් අභිරහස ලෝකයට දෑසින් දැකීමටත්, හදවතින් ස්පර්ශ කිරීමටත් ඉඩහල දීමටයි.

​ජනප්‍රවාදයට අනුව, ෆ්‍රැන්සිස් තුමන් ජේසු බිළිඳාගේ රූපය වඩාගත් මොහොතේ එම රූපයට "ජීවය පැමිණියේ ය" යැයි සදහන් වේ. එයින් සංකේතවත් වන්නේ සැබෑ ලෙසම දෙවිඳුන්ට ප්‍රේම කරන හදවත් තුළ අදටත් ජේසු සමිඳුන් ජීවමාන වන (Awakens) අයුරුය. කලබලකාරී ලෝකයේ ඝෝෂාවෙන් මොහොතකට මිදී, දිව්‍යමය සරලත්වයේ සුන්දරත්වය යළි සොයා යන ලෙස අදත් සෑම ගවලෙනක්ම අපට නිහඬව ඇරයුම් කරනු ලබයි.

✨ Greccio - Where Faith Came to Life 🍂

​The Nativity scene is a 802-year-old living Gospel, first brought to life by St. Francis of Assisi in the caves of Greccio. By choosing a humble manger and real animals, Francis made the mystery of the Incarnation something the world could finally touch and feel.

​Legend says the infant figure "woke up" in Francis' arms, symbolizing how Christ awakens in every heart that truly loves Him. Today, every manger remains a silent invitation to step away from the world's noise and rediscover the profound beauty of divine simplicity. 🕊️

​The Incarnation is not merely a birthday; it is a cosmic revolution. In the first Creation, man was made in the image of God; in this "Second Creation," God is made in the image of man to repair what was broken. Every atom of the physical world was changed the moment the Divine Nature fused with human DNA. Today, the world is no longer a graveyard of fallen souls, but a garden where Divinity is blooming. Let us not just look at the manger, but look at the person next to us and see the image of Christ, who has wedded Himself to our humanity forever. 🌿✨

The YCS kite festival was an absolute success..we're all still recovering!🥹

Many thanks to Rev.Father Ishan Kannangara for his "expert" guidance and Sister Claudia for helping to make this event so memorable.🫡❤️‍🩹💐

Our judges, Sister Elizabeth,Sister Prasadini and sister puvana deserve a special medal for their brave decision-making...🥇🙏
