On 31st March, the Seminary Pasan Team prayerfully conducted a Pasan Programme at St. Anthony’s Church, Pellandeniya, at the kind invitation of Rev. Fr. Nalin Fernando.

A large gathering of faithful participated with deep devotion, creating a spiritually enriching atmosphere. Through reflective songs and meditations on the Passion of Christ, the community was drawn into a deeper experience of this sacred Lenten journey.

On 29th March, the Seminary Team visited Katupotha Parish to conduct their Pasan Programme at the kind invitation of Rev. Fr. Jude Lasantha. A large gathering of the faithful joined in prayerful reflection, making it a meaningful Lenten experience centered on the Passion of Christ.

On the 28th of March, our seminary community was blessed to conduct a Pasan Programme at Malpitiya Parish, graciously hosted at the invitation of Rev. Fr. Manura Shiron. A large gathering of the faithful came together in a spirit of prayer and reflection, making the evening a truly meaningful experience.

As we journey through the sacred season of Lent, this programme offered a profound opportunity to meditate on the Passion of Christ and to deepen our spiritual lives. We are grateful for the warm welcome extended by the parish community and for the active participation of all who made this event a success.

**“Walking with Christ in His Passion”**

On the 20th Friday of this Lenten season, another **Pasan Service** was prayerfully conducted at Malakduwawa Parish at the kind request of Rev. Fr. Nihal Obris.

This sacred service became a deep invitation for all the faithful to enter into the Passion, Death, and saving love of Christ. As we journey through Lent, we are reminded that the suffering of Jesus is not merely a past event, but a living call to conversion, sacrifice, and renewal in our own lives.

Through reflection and prayer, the faithful were encouraged to carry their crosses with faith, uniting their struggles with Christ, who gave His life for the salvation of the world. The Pasan Service truly helped all present to experience the depth of Christ’s love revealed on the Cross and to prepare their hearts for the joy of the Resurrection.

On the 22nd Sunday, a meaningful Pasan Service was conducted at Pannala Parish at the kind request of Rev. Fr. Alexi Callistus. The celebration witnessed the active participation of a large number of faithful, including the enthusiastic presence of the Sunday School children.

This event marked the 14th presentation of the Diocese across different parishes during this Lenten season, reflecting a deep spirit of devotion and unity among the faithful.

“Journey Through Lent: Finding My Vocation”

The Minor Seminary successfully conducted a meaningful Lenten Programme for students from Grade 5 to 8 in the Irabadagama and Hettirippuwa parishes. Guided by the Rector, Vice Rector, and Minor Seminarians, the programme focused on the true spirit of the Lenten season, encouraging participants to grow in faith, reflect on their personal identity, and recognize their vocation in life. It was a spiritually enriching experience that inspired the young students to deepen their relationship with God and discover their purpose with greater clarity.
