බෞද්ධ තොරතුරු කේන්ද්රයේ අධ්යක්ෂ, පූජ්ය අඟුළුගල්ලේ ජිනානන්ද හිමිපාණන් පැවිදි දිවියට පත්ව වසර 30 ක් ගතවීම නිමිත්තෙන් ආශීර්වාද ලබා ගැනීම හා වීර සෙන්පති ඩෙන්සිල් කොබ්බෑකඩුව මැතිතුමන් මිය ගිය දිනය සිහිකොට එතුමන්ට පින් දීම, වසර 9 කට පෙර මියගිය මව් තුමියට පින් දීම සඳහා මහා සංඝරත්නය උදෙසා ගිලන්පස දානයක් පූජා කිරීමේ පිංකම 2026/08/08 දින කැලණිය දුම්රියපල පාර ගැමුණු මාවතේ ශ්රී පඤ්ඤානන්ද ධර්මායතන විහාරස්ථානයේදී පවත්වන ලදී.
A meritorious event involving the offering of *Gilanpasa* (refreshments) to the Maha Sangha was held on August 8, 2026, at the Sri Pannananda Dharmayathanaya Temple on Gamunu Mawatha, off Railway Station Road, Kelaniya. This event was organized to invoke blessings marking the 30th anniversary of the ordination of Ven. Angulugalle Jinananda Thero—Director of the Buddhist Information Centre—and to transfer merit to the late heroic General Denzil Kobbekaduwa and the Thero's mother, who passed away nine years ago.
