Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord.”
Luke 1:46

Mary’s Assumption reveals the destiny of every life surrendered to God. She who carried Christ in her heart and brought Him to the world now shares fully in His glory.

As Dominicans, Mary teaches us that contemplation must become mission: to receive Christ deeply, to praise God faithfully, and to carry His light to others especially the poor, the forgotten, and the suffering.

Her glory is our hope. Heaven is not an escape from our mission on earth; it is the goal that gives meaning to it.

May Mary teach us to live our own Magnificat trusting God, serving others, and faithfully walking toward the glory He has prepared for us.

Mary, Assumed into Heaven, pray for us.
Lead us always closer to Christ. Amen.

Joyful Feast of Saint Dominic

Today, we celebrate our Holy Father, Saint Dominic. He beautifully taught us to speak only "to God or about God."As Dominicans, this feast calls us to look at the torch we carry.

In a world full of noise, let us renew our commitment to Prayer, Study, Community, and Preaching.
May our actions always flow from deep contemplation to bring Christ’s Truth (Veritas) to others.

Happy Feast Day! May the abundant blessings and intercession of Saint Dominic be with you and your ministry today.
