An Unforgettable Celebration of Culture, Tradition & Unity! 🌙

The Islamic Cultural Event 2025, hosted by the Islamic Society of NSBM, was a remarkable showcase of tradition, knowledge, and togetherness! Held on 20th February 2025 at the NSBM Student Centre, this event welcomed people from all backgrounds to explore and appreciate the richness of Islamic culture.

💫 Highlights of the event included:
● Hijab stall – Showcasing styles and significance
● Mehendi stall – Celebrating art and tradition
● Food stall – Offering a taste of traditional Islamic cuisine
● Cultural presentations – Sharing knowledge and history

✨ Celebrating 8 Years of NSBM Green University with Spiritual Harmony ✨️

In honor of NSBM Green University’s 8th anniversary, the NSBM Islamic Society embarked on a spiritual journey on 23rd October 2024, offering blessings for the university’s future.

The ceremony began with a soulful recital of Qirat by Moulavi As Aheik Ahhar Haleemdeen, setting a calm and uplifting atmosphere. The celebration continued with a qaseeda program by the talented students of Hejaaz International School (Girls Section), alongside activities including a hijab stall and a mehendi stall that embraced diversity and strengthened unity within our vibrant university community.

This auspicious occasion was honored by the presence of our Vice Chancellor - Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor - Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance - Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Esteemed Deans, faculty members, and dedicated staff.
