The Feast of Saint Anthony the Hermit began on July 25th with the flag-hoisting ceremony at the church in Elverton, Hali-Ela, which is part of the Badulla Parish. After nine days of prayer and reflection, the vespers service was held on July 27th. The high festive mass was on July 28th which was led by Father Robert Claret Assistant Parish Priest and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Dilex shantha, Parish Priest.
