Shanela De Livera School of Music caters to young students above the age of five, to help them get their first hands on experience in playing the piano, and learn the basic fundamentals of music theory. Olga De Livera who is a household name in music circles in Sri Lanka , is an associate of the Trinity College of Music, London (ATCL); a Licentiate of the Trinity College of Music (LTCL) and Roya
l Schools of Music, London (LRSM) and Member of the Royal Society of Teachers (MRST). Ramya De Livera is also a renowned concert pianist and a highly acclaimed music teacher. Shanela has been playing piano from a very young age, and completed her formal education in music through the Royal College of Music (London). Shanela's ambition in establishing this school, is to give a first hand experience in playing piano to young kids, as well as adults who want to learn how to play the piano as an extracurricular activity. If any student wishes to pursue formal studies and grading examinations in piano music, they can enroll the music classes conducted by Mrs. Ramya De Livera, after completing their initiation program with shanela. To ensure personal attention, each class will comprise of 2 students, and the duration will be one hour. A fee of Rs. 500 will be charged per student, per class.
