If we are to bear fruit, we have to be connected to Jesus the true Vine.
Nothing is possible apart from Jesus, and as Christians and followers of Christ we need to understand and apply this truth to our lives. As branches we need to stay connected to the Vine. The Vine nourishes the branches, it gives it life and purpose, but if the branch does not produce fruit, the farmer has to cut it off. So let’s stay connected to Jesus the source of our life. Let us produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit keeping in mind that we all serve One God and are called to bear fruit.

This WCC Sunday, let us remember the WCC and all churches around the world. Let us pray that all churches will abide in Jesus and His teachings, and will mutually respect and love one another.
