Ratko Mladić, the “Butcher of Bosnia,” has died in The Hague.

The former Bosnian Serb military commander died while serving a life sentence for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes committed during the 1992–1995 war in Bosnia.

Mladić was responsible for some of the worst crimes committed against Bosnian Muslims during the war. Under his command, Bosnian Serb forces carried out the Srebrenica genocide in July 1995, killing more than 8,000 Bosniak Muslim men and boys.

He was also convicted for crimes committed during the siege of Sarajevo and for persecution, murder, deportation and forcible transfer across Bosnia.

After years on the run, Mladić was arrested in Serbia in 2011 and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2017.

He has now died.

He will now meet his Creator.

The victims of Srebrenica and Bosnia must never be forgotten.

Press Release
The Settlers Continue Their Crimes and the Rulers Enjoy Their Inaction!
(Translated)
For over a week, settlers have been besieging Palestinian homes in the village of Qusra in the occupied West Bank, where approximately 15 people, including women and children, reside. Their aim is to force the residents to leave their land so the settlers can seize it. The settlers have cut off water and electricity, refusing to allow anyone to enter or leave. They have also damaged property, pelted homes with stones, and hurled insults at the residents. This is all happening with the complicity of the occupation army. It should be noted that these homes are located in Area B, as defined by the Oslo Accords, and are under the administrative control of the Palestinian Authority. However, the settlers' presence has effectively isolated them from the rest of Qusra village.
Settlement expansion in the West Bank witnessed a significant escalation during 2025 and 2026, with the confiscation of thousands of dunams of land and the displacement of their owners to construct thousands of settlement units and expand dozens of other outposts established by settlers throughout the West Bank.
A UN official reported that in 2026 alone, approximately 3,800 Palestinians, nearly half of them children, were displaced due to settler violence, demolitions, and evictions. Last Wednesday, the far-right finance minister, Smotrich, announced a major expansion of more than 2,000 homes in three Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
In Jenin, 27 Palestinian buildings were recently demolished in preparation for re-establishing settlements in the area. Settlers also re-established the Ganim settlement 21 years after its evacuation as part of the 2005 disengagement plan agreed by the Jewish entity. The occupation forces closed the entrances and side roads along the main road leading to the settlement to provide protection for the settlers and their leaders involved in its re-establishment, including the ministers of war and communications, and members of the Knesset. This is redrawing the map of the Jenin governorate, imposing new realities on the ground that will fragment the governorate and transform it into something resembling military barracks. This will increase the frequency of attacks and confrontations and threaten the geographical contiguity between Palestinian towns.
All of this occurs with the complicity of the occupying army, which allows settlers to seize land and resources throughout the West Bank with impunity, even in areas where they (Palestinian land owners) possess ownership documents issued by the Jewish entity. The settlers have been emboldened by their extremist government, headed by Netanyahu, which has spearheaded a rapid expansion of settlements in the West Bank, accompanied by attacks on Palestinians and military measures including the establishment of checkpoints, road closures, and restrictions on the movement of farmers.
A UN official stated that settler violence has reached unprecedented levels. The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that ‘Israeli’ occupation forces and settlers carried out approximately 2,256 attacks against Palestinians, their lands, and their property during the month of July. These attacks alone have resulted in the deaths of nearly 20 Palestinians since the beginning of the year (the youngest being a 13-year-old child), in addition to the forced displacement of thousands of civilians from their homes and communities in the West Bank, nearly half of whom are children.
On Friday, Defense (War) Minister Katz announced the transfer of law enforcement powers in West Bank settlements to the police under the so-called Ministry of National Security, headed by the far-right politician Ben-Gvir. This move signifies increased violence and the de facto annexation of the West Bank.
As usual, the Palestinian Authority's response, at best, is limited to condemnation, calls for international intervention and intervention from major powers to provide international protection, and documentation of violations to be submitted to international human rights and judicial institutions!
The more the rulers and armies fail to support the Blessed Land and its people, the more arrogant and insolent the usurping Jewish entity becomes. And the more corrupt and complicit the Palestinian Authority becomes, the more the settlers' false courage persists, for they know that no one will stand against them except the unarmed inhabitants, armed only with pride and dignity.
O officers and soldiers of the armies:
How long will you remain in this state of silence, inaction, and negligence?!
Supporting the Deen and its people, and aiding the oppressed, is your duty. Failing to do so is not merely negligence, but could be a reason for the application of the divine law of replacement. Therefore, work to remove these rulers who stand as an insurmountable barrier to the establishment of Allah's rule on earth, lest you be among those described in this noble verse: ﴿وَإِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْماً غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ﴾ “[If you ˹still˺ turn away, He will replace you with another people. And they will not be like you” [TMQ Muhammad: 38]. Then you lose both this world and the Hereafter!

Press Release
Every Day, a Child Becomes a Martyr, and Every Day the Responsibility Upon You, O Armies of the Muslims, Grows Heavier
(Translated)

A United Nations report stated that during the 300 days of the “ceasefire,” 300 children were killed as a result of the aggression by the Jewish entity, which did not stop in the Gaza Strip.
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said this occurred despite the agreement to suspend military operations and allow humanitarian and relief aid to enter fully.
This is not an ordinary headline news. It is not passing news. It is not a meaningless statistic. This news is a catastrophe in every sense of the word.
This news means that this world, with its systems and international institutions, is primarily complicit. For three years, it sought to convince the peoples of the world that it did not want war and was seeking peace, while throughout the months of negotiations, pressure was at its highest to force the fighters in Gaza to surrender their weapons. Meanwhile, even after Trump came out boasting that he had managed to stop the war in Gaza, we now find that his spoiled child continues to persist in its brutality, while in return we hear nothing from anyone except to count the martyrs and announce their deaths as passing news!
This news means, O Ummah of Muhammad, that you are considered of little consequence in the eyes of your enemies, and that the killing will continue among our children, women, and youth as long as we deal with our issues from the perspective of narrow nationalism, and from the standpoint of: “As long as the fire has not reached my doorstep, I will simply pray!”
This news means that you, people who possess weapons, leaders of armies, and everyone capable of moving to support their Ummah while remaining silent, carry upon your backs mountains of sin and a burden of wrongdoing that you will face before your Lord on the Day of Resurrection, ﴿وَاتَّقُواْ يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ﴾ “And beware of a Day when you will all be returned to Allah, then every soul will be paid in full for what it has done, and none will be wronged.” [TMQ Al-Baqarah: 281].

Portugal’s niqab ban once again exposes the contradiction in the secular idea of “freedom”: Muslim women are said to be free, but only within boundaries defined by secular values.

For us, however, freedom is not the standard. Our standard is Islam — what Allah has permitted and prohibited. A Muslim woman’s dress is not for governments or shifting social norms to determine, but for Islam.

In Portugal, violators face fines ranging from €150 to €3,000, with exemptions for health, professional, artistic or weather-related reasons, as well as in places of worship, diplomatic missions and on aircraft.

Activism for Palestine Must Embrace a Clear Vision for Change
News:
On 6th August, UNICEF reported that at least 300 children have been killed in Gaza by the Jewish entity in 300 days of the so-called ‘Israel-Hamas’ “Ceasefire” that came into effect in October 2025. On 1st August, the Gaza Health Ministry stated that July was the deadliest month in Gaza since the start of the ceasefire, with 152 killed, including 21 children and 14 women, bringing the numbers killed since October 2025 to over 1,200 and more than 4,000 injured by the occupation. The overall death toll in Gaza since October 2023 has been over 73,300, including more than 21,000 children, with more than 174,000 injured. UNICEF also stressed that families are now confined to one third of the Strip, due to Zionist forces occupying the rest. They are sheltering among destroyed buildings, rubble and uncleared waste, and Gaza’s children continue to face acute malnutrition, disease, unsafe water and a damaged sanitation system.
Comment:
All this comes at a time when the Jewish entity has imposed a military siege on various areas of the West Bank, escalating its raids and arrests in villages and cities, terrorizing and attacking its people. Violence against the people of Palestine in the area by Jewish settlers has also intensified, with more than 1,380 settler-related incidents since the start of 2026, averaging 6.6 a day, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). 77 people in Palestine, including 18 children have been martyred since the beginning of the year. Homes, mosques, properties and crops have been burned, agricultural lands seized, and increased settlement outposts established. Demolitions and settler violence has displaced an average of 17 people a day this year in the West Bank, with 341 demolition operations carried out by Zionist forces in the area during the first half of 2026, destroying 740 structures and affecting 923 residents. The OCHA has highlighted that more than 80 Palestinian schools across the West Bank are currently subject to demolition or related orders. And in July, more than 4200 ‘Israelis’ stormed the Al Aqsa compound and performed their Talmudic rituals and prayers.
Millions attending protests in lands across the world calling for an end to the genocide. There has also been a global call for the boycotting of products from the Zionist entity and businesses that support it, as well as international pressure on firms and governments to stop trade and the supply of weapons to the occupation to weaken it economically and militarily. This is alongside demands for the International Criminal Court (ICC), UN and states across the world to take more firm action against the Zionist entity to stop the slaughter, end its apartheid treatment of the people of Palestine and stop its further usurping of their lands. However, the killing, maiming, terrorization, arbitrary arrests, torture, starvation, suffering, and humiliation of the people of Palestine continues, and indeed intensifies.
A ‘Free Palestine’ will never materialize through any two-state solution or ceasefires or peace agreements. Nor will the genocide and occupation end through global boycotts, the ICC, UN. The only means to remove a military occupation is through the mobilization of the Muslim armies under a similar powerful state which stands for Islam and justice, fights for Islam and justice, and which is the guardian and shield of the Muslims and their Deen. This state is the Khilafah (Caliphate) based upon the method of the Prophethood, for the Prophet (saw) said: «إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ» “Only the Imam (the Khalifah) is a shield behind whom you fight and you protect yourself with.”

Press Release
The Scourge of Nationalism Is Hounding Rohingya Children in Malaysia Out of Their Schools and Homes

A surge in online hate speech, misinformation and dehumanizing narratives targeting Rohingya Muslim refugees in Malaysia in recent months has forced the closure of at least 9 Rohingya schools across the country. The schools were shut due to threats and harassment of Rohingya children, or by authorities after demands from the public on social media. This rise in anti-Rohingya sentiment has deprived many Rohingya children of an education and left many others afraid to attend classes or even leave their homes. Some online posts have been advocating violence against Rohingya, including their children, calling for Rohingya refugees to be “put in a room and set on fire,” to “rape them”, to “shoot them like crows”, and for “the women” to be “sterilized”. An online campaign which called for Rohingya refugees to be removed from Malaysia garnered nearly half a million signatures. All this holds echoes of the genocidal and dehumanizing vitriol that the Rohingya faced in Myanmar that caused thousands to be killed and hundreds of thousands to flee their homes.
It is the toxic concept of nationalism which drives and fuels such an intense and irrational hatred towards a persecuted Muslim community, whose only crime is to seek asylum in a neigbouring Muslim land from a genocide. This poisonous, noxious belief, which our Prophet (saw) said concerning it, «دَعُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا مُنْتِنَةٌ» “Leave it, it is rotten”, causes oppressed Muslims with a different ethnicity or land of origin to be treated like pariahs and criminals, and their children harassed and threatened and chased out of their schools and homes by their own Muslim brothers and sisters, rather than afforded protection, support, decent housing, a good education and a dignified life. On July 27th, Malaysian authorities detained over 100 Rohingya Muslim refugees who were seeking shelter at the UNHCR office following eviction from their homes in Penang by local residents who declared the area a “Rohingya-free zone”. Malaysia, a Muslim majority country, does not even officially recognize the Rohingya as refugees, branding them illegal migrants, refusing them rights of citizenship, including the right to work and their children to attend government schools, and leaving the threat of arrest looming constantly over them. A similar heartbreaking plight is suffered by Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, Indonesia and other lands.
All this is shameful and criminal! Does Allah (swt) not say: ﴿إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ﴾ “The believers are but one brotherhood…” [Al-Hujurat: 10] and﴿إِنَّ هَٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ﴾ “This Ummah is one Ummah and I am your Lord, so worship Me.” [Al-Anbiya: 92]?!! And did our Prophet (saw) not say: «الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ، لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ وَلَا يَحْقِرُهُ»“A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him.” (Sahih Muslim)?!! And did he (saw) not show us the manner by which Muslims treat their brothers and sisters who migrate to their lands when he paired the Ansar and Muhajireen in a bond of Muslim brotherhood in Madinah, with the Ansar offering half their wealth, homes and land to help the refugees from Makkah?
This sad state of affairs affecting the Rohingya Muslims, the Uyghur Muslims seeking refuge in Turkey, the Afghan refugees in Pakistan, and persecuted Muslims globally who are refused asylum and a dignified life in Muslim lands, will continue as long as we embrace the Haram concept of nationalism as an Ummah, and as long as we are ruled by nationalistic regimes and systems and maintain the colonial imposed nation-state model and national borders that divide our hearts and minds. The desperate plight of Muslim refugees will remain as long as the Khilafah (Caliphate) based upon the method of the Prophethood is absent from this world – the state which is a guardian of all Muslims regardless of their race, tribe, ethnicity or nationality; a state which rejects nationalism and that will unify the Muslim lands and open them to any oppressed people seeking refuge, providing them full rights of citizenship and a dignified life as obligated by Allah (swt) and demonstrated by the Khulifaa’ (caliphs) of the past, such as Sultan Bayezid II, who sent his navy to rescue the persecuted Muslims and Jews of Spain during the Spanish Inquisition and settled hundreds of thousands of them in the lands of the Khilafah.
