Joseph’s life shows a powerful journey of purpose through pain.

✨The robe represents God’s calling over his life, even when others tried to bring him down.

✨His dreams reveal that God has a greater future prepared for us, though the process is often hidden and difficult.

✨The cistern reflects moments of betrayal and our lowest seasons, where everything feels lost but God still rescues.

✨Temptation highlights Joseph’s integrity, choosing faithfulness to God despite pressure.

✨And lastly the prison reminds us that delays are not denials. God is shaping and preparing us for something greater.

In every stage, Joseph’s story teaches that God is working,even in the unseen, the painful, and the waiting.

-Waiting is not wasted time
-Waiting is where faith is built
Truth:
-If God made a promise, delay is not denial

3. FAITH WORSHIPS - BEFORE THE BREAKTHROUGH (Habakkuk 3:17-18)

-Praising God when nothing make sense

4. FAITH STANDS - BECAUSE GOD IS STRENGTH
✨Lesson:
-He started with questions, He ended with worship

-You may not control the storm, but you can stand through it

📍Keypoints
A. Calling - James thought us was worthy enough to drop whatever he was doing and follow.

B. Jesus Close Inner Circle - witness the main events of Jesus:
1. Transfiguration (Matthew 12:1-2)
2. Raising of Jairus daughter from death (Mark 5:37)
3. Jesus prayer in Gethsemane (Matthew 26:27)
* revealed deeper aspects of his power to a chosen disciple.

C. Correction - rebuked James and reminds him that he had not come to destroy men's lives but to save them.

D. Boanerges means "Sons of Thunder" - God can transform strong personalities for His purpose.

E. Ambition - Human ambition seeks position but Jesus calls to serve. Choose serving others over seeking recognition.

F. Martyrdom - Jesus closest disciple yet James became 1st apostle to be martyred.

LESSONS:
1. Following Jesus require immediate obedience.
2.Witnessing Jesus Glory and Agony
3.Spiritual maturity requires transformation
4.True greatness is not about position
5.Faithfulness matters more than length

Daniel’s Characteristics:

✨Wisdom/Discretion - He was never one to act hastily, but he was patient and prayerful. He waited for the right time and opportunity to act and then he did so with modesty.

Lesson: Pause Before Acting (Don’t Be Reactive)

✨Humility- In the eyes of the world Daniel had an amazing talent. He could have used it for his own gain, but he didn’t. It would have easy for him to become prideful, but he never did. Every time he had an opportunity to praise himself he gave all the credit, glory, thanks, and praise to God. When he approached the commander of the officials he
also did so with humility and respect. He didn’t care about gifts.

Lesson: Use your gifts to honor God, not to promote yourself.

✨Reliance on God - Daniel faced a number of very difficult situations, trials, and temptations. He never relied on himself or trusted in his own strength or wisdom (though he was very smart and good looking too). When faced with a dilemma, he prayed to God and asked God to show him His favor and compassion.

Lesson: Don’t rely on your strength. Go to God first and trust Him to guide you.

✨ Steadfast/Uncompromising - Daniel lived in a foreign culture and was continually pressured to give in to sinful customs and practices (peer pressure). In each situation he chose instead to follow God unwaveringly. He wasn’t brash or prideful or rude about his beliefs, but he stood by his convictions with courage and boldness.

Lesson: Stand firm in your faith even when everyone around you chooses differently.

✨ Courageous - Daniel was very bold. He pronounced the true meaning of dreams and visions, even when those would be negative and unpopular.

Lesson: Have the courage to speak truth even when it costs you.
