Eid Mubarak to everyone. In shā’ Allāh, the Eid prayer will take place tomorrow.

The prayer consists of two rak‘ahs. In the first rak‘ah, there will be seven takbīrs (saying Allāhu Akbar). Between each takbīr, there will be a brief pause to silently recite remembrances such as SubḥānAllāh, Alḥamdulillāh, Lā ilāha illa Allāh, and Allāhu Akbar.

In the second rak‘ah, there will be five takbīrs, with a similar short pause between each for the same silent remembrances, after which the prayer will continue as usual.

A brief demonstration will also be provided at the masjid prior to the prayer in sha Allah.

Grateful for every prayer, every tear, every quiet moment.

O Allah, invite us back again next year. We’re not ready to say goodbye. May we be among those who return to Ramadan again.
