پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسین محی الدین قادری کے لیے اٹلی کی جانب سے “Sign of Peace” کا بین الاقوامی اعزاز
پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسین محی الدین قادری، صدر منہاج القرآن انٹرنیشنل و ڈپٹی چیئرمین بورڈ آف گورنرز، منہاج یونیورسٹی لاہور، کو اٹلی کے معروف ادارے The Chair of Peace – Assisi کی جانب سے بین الاقوامی اعزاز Sign of Peace دیا گیا ہے۔
یہ اعزاز ڈاکٹر حسین محی الدین قادری کو قیامِ اَمن کے لیے کی جانے والی ان کی بے مثال اور مسلسل کاوشوں کے اعتراف میں دیا گیا، جن کے ذریعے انہوں نے قومی و بین الاقوامی سطح پر امن، رواداری، بین المذاہب مکالمہ، سماجی ہم آہنگی اور انسانی احترام کے فروغ کے لیے مؤثر کردار ادا کیا۔
یہ بین الاقوامی اعزاز اس اَمر کا واضح اعتراف ہے کہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسین محی الدین قادری کی قیامِ امن کے کیلئے بے مثال خدمات پاکستان سے بڑھ کر عالمی سطح پر بھی اَمن اور بین الثقافتی ہم آہنگی کے فروغ میں مؤثر اور قابلِ قدر سمجھی جا رہی ہیں۔ یورپ اور دنیا بھر میں امن اور تعلیمی تعاون کے فروغ کے حوالے سے ان کی کاوشوں کو بھرپور پذیرائی حاصل ہو رہی ہے۔
پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسین محی الدین قادری کی قیادت میں منہاج یونیورسٹی لاہور نے تحقیق، عالمی تعاون، جدید تعلیم، بین المذاہب رواداری، تعلیمِ مذاہب اور بین الثقافتی روابط کے میدان میں نمایاں پیش رفت کی ہے۔ بالخصوص UNESCO Chair on Peace Education and Intercultural Dialogue کے قیام کے بعد یونیورسٹی عالمی علمی و فکری مکالمے کا ایک اہم مرکز بن کر ابھری ہے، جہاں نوجوان نسل میں برداشت، اعتدال، انسانی احترام اور پائیدار اَمن کے تصورات کو فروغ دینے کے لیے مسلسل علمی و تحقیقی سرگرمیاں جاری ہیں۔
پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حسین محی الدین قادری کا یہ وژن نمایاں طور پر سامنے آتا ہے کہ: “ہم میں سے ہر ایک امن کی علامت بن سکتا ہے۔”
ان کا مؤقف ہے کہ جدید دور کے عالمی چیلنجز کا مؤثر حل صرف علم، مکالمہ، باہمی احترام اور انسان دوستی کے ذریعے ہی ممکن ہے۔ ان کی قیادت میں جاری علمی و سماجی کاوشیں اسی سوچ کی عملی تعبیر سمجھی جا رہی ہیں۔
بین الاقوامی تنظیمات اور سفارتی حلقوں نے اس اعزاز کو نہ صرف ڈاکٹر حسین محی الدین قادری بلکہ پاکستان کے وقار کے لیے بھی ایک اہم عالمی اعزاز قرار دیا ہے۔
Italy Confers International “Sign of Peace” Award upon Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors at Minhaj University Lahore, has been honoured with the international “Sign of Peace” award by Italy’s renowned institution, The Chair of Peace – Assisi.
This prestigious recognition has been awarded in acknowledgment of Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri’s continuous efforts for the promotion of peace. Through his initiatives and leadership, he has played a significant role at both national and international levels in fostering peace, tolerance, interfaith dialogue, social harmony and respect for humanity.
The international award serves as a clear recognition that Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri’s remarkable contributions to peacebuilding are being valued not only in Pakistan but also globally for peacebuilding and intercultural harmony. His efforts towards advancing peace and academic cooperation across Europe and other parts of the world are receiving widespread appreciation.
Under the leadership of Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Minhaj University Lahore has made remarkable strides in the fields of research, international collaboration, modern education, interfaith tolerance, religious education and intercultural engagement. In particular, after the establishment of the UNESCO Chair on Peace Education and Intercultural Dialogue, the university has emerged as an important hub of global intellectual and academic discourse, where continuous scholarly and research activities are being carried out to promote tolerance, moderation, human dignity, and sustainable peace among the younger generation.
The vision of Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri is clearly reflected in his belief: “We can all become ambassadors of peace.”
He maintains that the effective solution to the global challenges of the modern era lies only in knowledge, dialogue, mutual respect and human compassion. The academic and social initiatives being carried forward under his leadership are regarded as a practical manifestation of this vision.
