🌷🤱Feeling incredibly blessed this Mother's Sunday! Thanking God for the 27 amazing mothers who gathered to hear God's Word today. 20 of them are visitors from our village. We loved celebrating them with special gifts after worship, and sharing a sweet dessert with everyone who came out to worship with us.🍨💝 To God be the Glory! God is good!🙌

Today, our village was filled with a special kind of joy as the church gathered to distribute Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes from Samaritan’s Purse. While the children’s faces lit up at the sight of new toys, school supplies, and colorful trinkets, the most precious gift wasn’t found inside the boxes. Before a single lid was opened, the children were invited to hear the message of salvation, learning about the love of Jesus and the eternal hope He offers. It was a beautiful day where tangible generosity met a timeless truth, ensuring that every child walked away not just with a gift in their hands, but with the Good News in their hearts.❤️

Jesus is the Lord's truth made flesh for all of mankind. This flesh, consecrated on the cross, should not be mistaken as being weak. For upon Christ's resurrection was it made true and everlasting. His flesh has endured throughout the ages for each and every Christian. Acceptance of it ensures our protection as one of God's children.

Sustenance for the righteous involves much more than physical food and drink. The realms of the spirit, once having apprehended Christ, creates an invincible and unalterable assent, which cannot be shaken out of the soul. Perhaps more fundamentally, earthy sustenance such as food requires constant replenishment. Hunger and thirst will always stalk us. Spiritual nourishment, however, as this verse in John suggests, never completely depletes; put our faith in the Lord, we will never again thirst, but only attain greater fulfillment.
