Catch a Generation

Last week has been full of beehive activity with over 1700, 4-12 year olds in Kilifi Gotani. The greatest work to day is to Reach, Disciple and Empower children. This is an investment in the Next Generation that has to be done Now! Proverbs 22:6 because of the problems in Proverbs 22 verse 15. It was really a blast!! Pray as we begin another week with 13-19 year olds here. The team and I are doing a great Job. Thanks to our friends from all over the world and thanks to Nurmay Missions our Host.

Our recent outreach in Muyinga Burundi took a toll on my heart. The need to reach, rescue,disciple and Empower children is critical in this small nation in East Africa. This is a mission too big for anyone to accomplish alone. The need to partner and bring change is urgent. Please pray, lets connect, let's partner and change a community through children. I tend to believe Jesus must have been looking at the children who came in large numbers to meet him. Like those days, even today children are always gathering waiting for us to meet their needs. like those days today, children are worthy our compassion, in some places they still look harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherded. I am praying that this new year you will join us and support Missions to, for and with children. Children are ready now, to Know God, Love God, Honor God and serve God Now!! May God use you and me to reach out to them today.

TLT offers the best insight training for pastors and Church leaders. It's a blessing when we take this training where it's is needed. Today we started a class in Kilifi and we are trading pastors on pastoral care, caring for God's people. Training pastors and church leaders in the rural areas of Kenya is a mission that requires self denial. You must have the "mind of Christ as Paul describes it in Philippians 2:1ff." But it's great calling. It's a way of "multiplying self." Today we started a class in Bethel Baptist Kasonzo Kilifi. I am also challenging these leaders to consider children first in their churches. What a blessing to be useful to the body of Christ! Glory to God who has always been faithful to provide resources for missions like this. Amen
