THEME: THY KINGDOM COME (Matthew 6:9)

This petition calls believers to pray for the full establishment and manifestation of God’s sovereign rule on earth, just as it is already perfectly established in heaven. It invites God’s authority, righteousness, peace, justice, and glory to break into the present world.

Meaning and Application:

1. Acknowledges God’s kingship and eternal power.
2. Expresses longing for His perfect will to be done here and now.
3. Encourages alignment of our lives with God’s kingdom values.
4. Recognizes that the Kingdom is both a future hope and a present spiritual reality.

THEME:INSPIRING OTHERS
(Based on the life of Nehemiah – A Model of God-Inspired Influence)

Core Values of Inspiring Others.
True inspiration is not loud or forced. It flows naturally from a life aligned with God. When you walk closely with the Lord, you:

1. Fill them with confidence – People around you begin to believe they can do what God has called them to do.
2. Become a role model – Your life becomes a living example of faith, courage, and integrity.
3. Exert an unintentional influence – Your character, words, and actions quietly shape others without you even trying.

The INSPIRE Model of Godly Influence
(Drawn from Nehemiah’s leadership in rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem)

I – Intercede to Know God’s Will (Prayer)
Before taking any step, Nehemiah prayed and fasted. He sought God’s heart first.
“O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant…” (Nehemiah 1:11)

N – Never Allow Doubt to Dominate (Discipline)
Nehemiah refused to let fear or opposition control him. He disciplined his mind to trust God’s promises.
“The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding.” (Nehemiah 2:19-20)

S – See a Better Future (Vision)
He looked beyond the ruins and saw a restored Jerusalem. Great leaders see what can be, not just what is.
Nehemiah cast a clear, compelling picture of restoration (Nehemiah 2:17-18).

P – Passionately Communicate the Vision (Passion/Zeal)
Nehemiah spoke with conviction and urgency. His passion was contagious.
“You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins… Come, let us rebuild the wall.” (Nehemiah 2:17-18)

I – Involve Others to Fulfill the Vision (Collaboration)
He didn’t do it alone. He mobilized priests, families, and workers – everyone had a part.
“Next to him, the repairs were made by…” (Repeated throughout Nehemiah 3 – teamwork in action)

R – Rule Wisely in Times of Crisis (Endurance)
When enemies mocked, threatened, and attacked, Nehemiah responded with wisdom, prayer, and readiness.
“We prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night.” (Nehemiah 4:9)
They worked with one hand and held a weapon with the other (Nehemiah 4:17).

E – Expect God to Do Great Things (Faith)
Nehemiah lived with bold expectation. He believed God would provide, protect, and prosper the work.

“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies…” (Psalms 23:5)

THEME: CAPACITY

Capacity is how much we can hold as vessels in God’s hands. God cannot continue pouring into us once our capacity is exhausted. This is why we must continually build and expand our capacity.

Capacity is demonstrated by making yourself useful. Discover, develop, and deploy yourself according to your unique gifts and talents. Usefulness comes when you are used often — you become “full of use.” If you are not used regularly, you become less useful, or even “useless.”

As Ephesians 2:10 declares, “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

Your identity is revealed in what you do with:-EASE, EXCELLENCE, ENJOYMENT, RESULTS, Reward and FULFILMENT.

Philippians 2:13 tells us that “God is at work in us, both to will and to do” according to His good pleasure.

Ways to Build and Increase Capacity
1. Delegation – Involve Others
No single person is meant to fulfil the vision alone. Receive the vision from God, then share it passionately, clearly, and intentionally with others. Just as Nehemiah did (Nehemiah 2:15-18) despite opposition (v.19), we must add more vessels to carry the work. This principle is beautifully illustrated in the story of the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-4, where she was told to borrow empty vessels — the more vessels she gathered, the more oil God multiplied.

2. Enlarge the Place of Your Tent.
Isaiah 54:1-3 commands us to “enlarge the place of your tent… stretch out the curtains… lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.” The current place we dwell in is too small for the future God has prepared for us. We must intentionally expand our thinking, structures, systems, and reach.

4. Capacity Determines Your Relationships. Your level of capacity naturally attracts specific people and groups.

Once you identify your target group, intentionally increase your capacity in that area.
Create an environment that naturally attracts your target group. Do not chase people’s plans — focus on growing yourself and your environment so that the right people are drawn to you. Capacity attracts the right relationships.
