📍Storms are Guaranteed for Everyone.
reminded us that being a Christian isn’t a "no-storm" pass. The exact same wind, rain, and floods hit both the wise and the foolish builder. Everyone faces loss, stress, and heartbreak—but the difference is in the Invisible Foundation.
When the sun is shining, every house looks the same. It is only when the storm hits that the "invisible" work of prayer, honesty, and obedience is revealed.
The Difference is "Doing," Not Just "Hearing." 🔨Both builders heard the same instructions. The only difference between a "wise" man and a "foolish" man was action.
We cannot simply follow the crowd or say one thing while doing another. To build a Christlike family, we must choose loving forgiveness over culture and the words of men.
Understanding the 3 Categories of Brokenness: 🍯Before we can find wholeness, we must identify the source of the crack:
📍1. When God Allows Brokenness (To Manifest His Glory): Sometimes your struggle isn’t a punishment; it’s a platform. As in John 9:1-5, God may allow a season of trial so that His works can be displayed through your testimony.
📍2. When We Bring Brokenness on Ourselves (The Broken Cisterns): According to Jeremiah 2:13, we often commit two sins: We forsake the Spring of Living Water and try to dig our own Broken Cisterns. These are things like money, status, or power that can never truly satisfy and eventually leak.
📍3.When the Enemy Brings Brokenness (The Devourer): We must stay alert! 1 Peter 5:8 warns us that the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to steal peace and destroy families. The Turning Point: The Presentation of Christ.
✨Like the Woman at the Well in John 4, you may have been trying to fill your life with "broken cisterns." But when Christ presents Himself, everything changes. She dropped her water jar and found wholeness.
You are not a "broken piece" of a family Lfm; in Christ, you are a whole person!
The Divine Decree for Your New Dawn: 🔥It doesn't matter if your beginning was small—your end shall be great (Job 8:7-9).
We stand on the promise of Isaiah 3:10: "Tell the righteous it will be well with them!"If you are down today, look to the Rock that is higher than you.
Decree a thing and it shall be established!
"Rejoice not against me, O my enemies; when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me." — Micah 7:8
