Gilbert Korir serves as the AIC Kapcholyo Youth Leader, Sotik Region Youth Leader, and is the Founder of The Berean Youth Fellowship.

Through his leadership, guidance, and commitment, many young people are being encouraged to grow in faith, purpose, and service.

📚 Main Reading: Job 1:1–22

What is the Mystery of Pain?
Pain is a deep personal experience, and its mystery lies in the fact that we do not always understand why God allows it. Through the life of Job, we learn that God remains sovereign, faithful, and worthy of our trust in every season.

Lessons from the Life of Job
1. The Lord is the Giver of every good gift. (James 1:17)
2.The Lord has the right to take away. (Job 1:21–22)
3. Loss reveals what is truly in our hearts. (Habakkuk 3:17–18)
4. God is still worthy of our worship and praise, even in suffering.
5. A believer's hope is greater than earthly possessions. (1 Timothy 6:7)

Practical Applications
✅ When the Lord gives, be thankful.
✅ When the Lord takes away, remain humble.
✅ When you do not understand, keep trusting God.
✅ When your heart is broken, keep worshipping.
✅ When something is removed from your hands, never let praise be removed from your mouth.

"The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." – Job 1:21

May God give us the faith to trust Him in every season, knowing that His purposes are always good.

"For there is hope for a tree: if it is cut down, it will sprout again..." — Job 14:7–9

No matter how broken, discouraged, or delayed life may seem, God is able to restore you. Just as a tree cut down can grow again at the scent of water, God can breathe new life into every situation. As long as God is involved, there is always hope.

How can hope become a reality in our lives?
✅ Remove bitterness through sincere prayer.
✅ Let go of the old ways and walk in God's path.
✅ Be specific and intentional when you pray.

🌱 Remember: Your current season is not your final destination. God specialises in bringing life where others see an end.
