Celebrating Mothering Sunday at ACK St. Philip’s Ginga

🤱 Mothering Sunday has evolved over the years; from the time when people would return to their “Mother Church” during Lent to when those in service and apprenticeships went home to their mothers with gifts 💐

❣️ Mothering Sunday is a time for us all to recognize the importance of those who have cared for and mothered us throughout our lives

Mothers are the foundation upon which generations are built, the silent architects of character, and the sculptors of souls. They are the special pillars of society, holding families together with love, strength, and wisdom. 💖👩‍👧‍👦

Motherhood goes beyond just giving birth—it embraces all the incredible women who choose to love, nurture, and raise children as their own, regardless of blood ties. These selfless hearts shape the future with compassion and grace. 🌷🤱

Today, Rev Joel Atong', led the st Philip's ACK Ginga congregation in honoring, celebrating, and marking this special day.

🙏🎉
To all mothers—biological, adoptive, spiritual, and those who play the role of a mother—we celebrate you! 💐💕 May God bless you abundantly for your endless sacrifices and love.

😘 It can also be an extremely emotional day for those who have experienced sadness or loss.........we think of you all today

Happy Mothering Sunday!
