About our church:
Covenant Life Community Church is a spirit-filled church that comes together to fulfill God’s love by praying, worshipping together, discipling new believers and teaching and preaching God’s Word. We desire true fellowship within our Church and among the community.
About Peter and Mary:
Pastor Peter and his wife Mary Sidonge have both answered the call of God on their lives to serve Him in the Gospel ministry. Peter received a burden to open a church in the year 1996, way before he got married to Mary. He begun by distributing gospel tracts and doing open air and door to door evangelism and the response was so encouraging as the Lord was saving souls.
Pastor Peter’s ministerial (Youth, evangelistic, Teaching and Pastoral ministries) call began in the year of 1990 in Eldoret, Kenya and continued there for over two decades, co-founding five ministries along the way. Pastor Peter, his wife Mary and their three children established their current church ministry, Covenant Life Community Church in 2017 upon relocating back to their village. This church has been growing gradually and God continues to bless it. Through their concerted efforts to person to person evangelism, open air and prayer ministries, many have come to Christ through the work of this small church.
Although they minister in other regions occasionally, their primary focus is the remote villages. The Lord has blessed them to travel extensively throughout these remote villages, villages which have never had the gospel because of their harsh living conditions. Their passion is to see souls saved, lives healed, people totally delivered, and leaders developed and living victoriously in Jesus Christ. They are the proud parents of three beautiful children who also love the Lord – Miles, Jenny and Joan.
Pastor Peter is a graduate of Global School of Ministry, Uganda with a major in Bible and Theology; and a minor in Counseling. It is from there that he gained deeper scriptural insight and developed tools to perfect his ministry. He has experience in administrative work in the church and is passionate about helping people move closer to Christ.

Lift Up A Child Program.
The idea to set up this program started in 2011 as a family initiative.
The situation of children here continues to face many challenges including diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, pneumonia; poverty and child abuse is on the rise and the risk of being dragged into a life of crime, prostitution, or exploitative work is high. When parents die, families disintegrate and meeting basic needs become extremely difficult for the children and widows. And because children end up dropping out of school and in any case, they stop going to school which perpetuates the cycle of poverty. A child’s education sponsorship is the most effective way to fight poverty and a child with a sponsorship is a child with hope and a bright future.
This is the cycle in which we work and is the vicious cycle we are working to break.
Our long-term focus/wish list is:
To fully provide education-related needs - School tuition assistance and school supplies, uniform, basic foodstuffs, shelter, beddings, shoes, medical/hygiene products including menstrual pads etc.
To put up a transition center to provide a temporary care space for abused school-going girls, drug addicts and women.
To provide housing for the sick elderly who have no one to care for them or their relatives are unable to look after them.
To sink and provide clean water for drought-stricken villages.
