One of the greatest lessons in the Christian life is learning the difference between a resource and a source.
God uses people, opportunities, jobs, businesses, relationships, and institutions as resources, but none of these were ever designed to replace Him as the source. The danger comes when our confidence shifts from the Giver to the things He gives.
There are seasons when God will allow human support to be limited so that we can rediscover where our true help comes from. Not to harm us, but to deepen our trust in Him.
When David faced battles, when Elijah stood alone, and when the disciples were sent out, they learned that God is able to sustain, provide, protect, and guide beyond what human ability can accomplish.
As you journey through this season, may your faith be anchored in the One who never fails. May your eyes remain fixed on the Lord, and may your confidence rest in His faithfulness rather than in changing circumstances.
The God who has carried you thus far is able to carry you still.
