Nightmares
Dreams such as this are serious indicators of demonic attacks that you need to take seriously. All of psychology studies about dreams have been conducted to determine whether dreams are part of our normal thought patterns or more.
In the old testament, we see that God spoke to the prophets through dreams and visions. God spoke to Abraham in a dream to move from his home country to a foreign land.
Have ever dreamt about something before it happened and later witnessed the very thing happening?
God sometimes uses dreams to warn us of the impending danger, advice as of the right choices to make and show use the other side of things or matters or situations that is hidden to our physical realm.
As were interact with people and things during the day, often than not we end up dreaming of such things at night. Maybe your watched a movie and it brought some thoughts in your mind, you could end up that very night dreaming that you are trapped in the scenes of the very same movie.
That aside, now listen to this- do you know that the devil also monitors your daily activities and attacks you in your dreams based on them. If you had dirty thoughts, let's say your were watching pornographic video on your phone or just feeling depressed and thinking of commiting su***de. Do you know that such thoughts are a door way through which devil will use to attack and torment you at night? You could dream that you are fighting people or being chased by people or dogs or creatures you could not describe and when you wake up you feel tired.
That should let you understand that you cannot ignore such dreams but pray persistently and walk in holiness. 2 cor 2:11 talks of the fact that we should know the schemes of the devil and avoid falling victims to such by
1. Forgiving people who wronged us before dusk.
