CGMOK Statement Of Faith
The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God's infallible written Word, the 66 Books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally, and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that it was written without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks. We accept those areas o

f doctrinal teaching on which, historically, there has been general agreement among all true Christians. Because of the specialized calling of our organization, we desire to allow for freedom of conviction on other doctrinal matters, provided that any interpretation is based upon the Bible alone, and that no such interpretation shall become an issue that hinders the ministry to which God has called us.
1. There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of Deity and the characteristics of personality.
2. Jesus Christ is God, the living Word, who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. Hence, He is perfect Deity and true humanity united in one person forever.
3. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for the sins of men by dying on the cross as their substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone.
4. He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He lived and died.
5. He ascended bodily into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God the Father, where He, the only mediator between God and man, continually makes intercession for His own.
6. He sinned by disobeying God; thus, he was alienated from his Creator. That historical fall brought all mankind under divine condemnation.
7. Man's nature is corrupted, and he is thus totally unable to please God. Every man is in need of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
8. The salvation of man is wholly a work of God's free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony. God imputes His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justifies them in His sight.
9. It is the privilege of all who are born again of the Spirit to be assured of their salvation from the very moment in which they trust Christ as their Saviour. This assurance is not based upon any kind of human merit, but is produced by the witness of the Holy Spirit, who confirms in the believer the testimony of God in His written Word.
10. The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to men. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ, imparts new life to them, continually indwells them from the moment of spiritual birth, and seals them until the day of redemption. His fullness, power, and control are appropriated in the believer's life by faith.
11. Every believer is called to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit so that he will not fulfil the lust of the flesh, but will bear fruit to the glory of God.
12. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all men, living and dead, who have been joined to Him through saving faith.
13. God admonishes His people to assemble together regularly for worship, for participation in ordinances, for edification through the Scriptures, and for mutual encouragement.
14. At physical death the believer enters immediately into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting glory and blessing.
15. At physical death the unbeliever enters immediately into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to judgment and everlasting condemnation.
16. Jesus Christ will come again to the earth--personally, visibly, and bodily--to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.
17. The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the gospel throughout the world and to disciple men of every nation. The fulfilment of that Great Commission requires that all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinated to a total commitment to "Him who loved us and gave Himself for us." ORIGIN OF THE MINISTRY
Ev. Charles Oyugi Odiya the founder of Christ Gospel and Miracle Outreach-Kenya based in Ombo Homa Bay Kenya, was born in Ndhiwa District in Homa Bay County on 3rd/March 1971. He is the seventh born in a family of seven. Evangelist was raised in a family that did not know God and practiced rituals to get help from their ancestors. In 1982 His mother encounter the Lord and became a Christian. Which eventually brought light into the family. Bishop Charles joined the Sunday school in Full Gospel churches of Kenya when he was three years old and began to grow, learning the Christian ways until the year 1989, 19th of April where he fully came to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And when he had rounded up his primary education, he graduated into High school in the year 1992 and begun to preach the gospel then he was 22 years of age. That he carried out through the whole course of 4 years. In the year 2004 when he came to the city of Nairobi then he has preached the gospel to many countries like, Musoma Tanzania,KampalaUganda,LagosNigeria,Addis abeba Ethiopia, Khartoum Sudan, Douala Cameroun,Dr Congo, Congo Brazzavile,Kenya Nairobi, Rift valley province,Kisii and many parts of Nyanza etc. It was last in year 2006 after Pastoring Children of God Regeneration Church for about 9 years, that the Lord spoke to Bishop to launch Christ Gospel and Miracle Outreach Kenya” to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through holding crusades, seminars and conferences. This ministry was founded on 4rth 2005 and the occasion was graced by Apostle Charles Ochieng from Uganda. Great things have happened since the Launching of this great Ministry to the glory to God. Charles is happily Married to Bella and he have been blessed with Six beautiful daughters and one boy.Rehema,Anne,Kellyn,Camilla,Idda and Daniel Omolafe. Charles O.Odiya continues to be a blessing to many people through his passion for the truth of the Word of God and this God confirm with signs, wonders and miracles in the name of His son Jesus Christ. Associate Pastor Daniel Ouma Nyateng is married to Jessica and blessed with 5 children. He is the assistant to Ev. Charles Oyugi Odiya in the ministry work and has been a blessing to this Ministry since the launching of the Ministry. Second associate pastor Charles Ogola is also married and blessed with four beautiful children. Sister Bella Odiya& Sister Jessica Ouma leads the worship team in this ministry and they have been a blessing to many people through the ministry of worship. They are truly blessed women of God.

1.2 STATEMENT OF FAITH
Introduction:
1. Our faith rests on the absolute authority of the God-breathed Scriptures. All three persons of the Godhead are active in God’s redeeming mission.
2. Our missiology Centre’s on the overarching biblical themes of:
i. God’s creation of the world. The Father’s redeeming love for all humanity as revealed in the incarnation. The establishment of a new Heaven and a new Earth for eternity. iv. The Holy Spirit, promised by our Lord, is our comforter, teacher and source of power. It 0The Spirit is the agent of mission, convicting of sin, righteousness and judgment. We are Christ’s servants, empowered and lead by the Spirit, whose goal is to glorify God. Prayer and intercession is the most vital of all ministries in global mission to undergird every service and ministry. vi. We confess the following themes as truths of special importance in this present age:
vii. Jesus Christ is Lord of the Church and Lord of the universe. Ultimately every knee will bow and every tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord. The Lordship of Jesus Christ is to be proclaimed to the whole world, inviting all to be free of the bo***ge to sin and the dominion of evil to serve the Lord for His glory. a) The Lord Jesus Christ is the unique revelation of God and the only Savior of the world. Salvation is found in Christ alone. b) The Good News of the salvation made possible by the work of Jesus Christ must be expressed in all the languages and cultures of the world. Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer has ended and the gathering of fruit is over, yet we are not saved! (Comes again the voice of the people).

Luke 13:25-27 When once the Master of the house gets up and closes the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door (again and again), saying, Lord, open to us! He will answer you, I do not know where (what households certainly not Mine) you come from. Then you will begin to say, We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets. But He will say, I tell you, I do not know where you come from; depart from Me, all you wrongdoers!

Luke 19:44 And they will dash you down to the ground, you and your children within you; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, (all) because you did not come progressively to recognise and know and understand (from observation and experience) the time of your visitation. (that is, when God was visiting you, the time in which God showed Himself gracious toward you and offered you salvation through Christ).

Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? And then U will say to them openly, I never knew you; depart from me, you who act wickedly (disrespecting My commands).

The Lord had me write a post recently on counterfeit Christianity. In it I described a true believer and a false believer. This post today is the second part of that post. The scriptures today chosen from the Spirit, are a direct outcome of a false believers life. The Holy Spirit in His mercy, still, even now, cries out to you to listen.
In Jeremiah 8:20, there is a great lament of the people. The people had missed their chance. They would not get a second chance. The Spirit would tell you that your season is almost over. If you do not heed to Him this day, He would say that you do not know when your time will come. You to could be one who is not saved when the gathering of fruit is over.
Luke 13:25-27 is talking about people in the church who think they are saved.
Many years ago, God showed me a disturbing vision. In it there were multitudes of people. They looked good. Many were in churches singing and praising God and I thought that it was good. Then He told me that most of these ones were deceived. They thought they were saved, but they were not. They had deceived themselves many of them. They were acting ok, as if they did not have any cares or worries. They looked upright and descent to me. Nothing looked to be wrong on the outside. Yet the Lord told me that most of them were not saved. This shocked me to my core. Because at that time, I believed there were some that played games with God, but most had accepted Him in their hearts. However, the Spirit was grieved. The Lord was very sad. I could feel it.

Brothers and sisters, I am telling you that there were many; mulltitudes even. A very vast number. The number was disturbing to me, to the point where at first I did not believe it.
Now, I know it was only a vision and we base ourselves firmly on the Word of God. But brothers and sisters, if you read Matthew chapter seven God gives us this exact picture. "Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? And then I will say to them openly, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly". It says MANY.

There are many who are walking in a delusion and are unaware of their true spiritual condition. Even if you will read Matthew chapter25, the parable of the foolish virgins, it also gives account of deceived believers, thinking they have time and deceiving themselves. They miss out. They do not make it. They are rejected and turned away. Yes, that means they go to hell.
Now, if you truly study and understand these scriptures today, the Lord is warning that many of you even reading this have played religion, you have gone to church and you have played spiritual games with God. You have never truly surrendered your all to Him. If you are honest with yourself, you would know that you do not know Him. There is no intimate relationship with Him.

Now this is the time right now that God is visiting you. God is right now showing Himself gracious towards you. He is offering you right now true salvation through Christ Jesus. You have to completely surrender all to Him. Not just say a little prayer to ask Him into your heart. No, he wants your whole being. Everything. For you must lay your life down. And yes, it is true, it is by grace that you are saved through your faith. But this is the beginning point brothers and sisters. He wants your whole life surrendered to Him. Your heart, your soul, your mind, your body, your entire being. All of you. Then His Spirit resides in your heart. But you are also giving Him permission to access every part of you. Utterly and completely. This is true salvation. He lives and breathes in and through us. He possesses us. We give Him dominion. His Spirit abides in us. We have relationship with Him. We are truly regenerated and recreated of the spirit by His Spirit. This is the true miracle.

Fatherhood

Fatherhood speaks of authority and position. There is always just something different about the respect and reverence that we give to a father. We often can be quick to let somebody that tries to get to authoritative that they are not our father.
I always try to remember that just because somebody calls me Dad, there are real limits to what I can say and do. That the term is a respect to my age, not my place in there lives. Being a mentor, doesn’t make you a father, just a guide or councilor.
That offering leadership is not Fathering someone.
So the name is not used lightly, but at the mention of it people know that there is something behind that name. It is spoke with respect to who holds that name.
A real bond between a father and his child is a bond of mutual respect and Honor.
It is a relationship built over a long period of time. The more you develop it the more trust and respect there is.

1. the authors of a family or society of persons animated by the same spirit as himself
2. one who has infused his own spirit into others, who actuates and governs their minds

Constituting a very close relationship, but giving them the freedom to develop into there own person. God gives us guidelines but not a this way or no way. Yes there are things you stay out of, and some things that are a must do. And he gives us guidelines in doing them. But the method can change. Church is different in each country that I go into, but God is worshipped in each.

We see the different wats that the prophet shared, and each was correct.

“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”
1 Corinthians 12:4-7 KJV

It is the word going forth as the Holy Spirit directs. Bring us back to the leading of the Holy Spirit. As my brother said, we have inserted a program for following the Holy Spirit. But programs don’t always produce the result the Lord wants. We have to be able to adjust on the move. As people respond to the sermon/teaching the Holy Spirit opens new doors.
Note is what the Lord was talking to us about, and a starting place to help us share what he shared with us. But not necessarily and ending place. For he may have something else for the people. They could be in a different place then you were, and he will direct this to were he wants to take both you and them.

Faith over Fear

Mark 5:21-24

A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, ''If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.'' Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, ''Who touched my clothes?''

''You see the people crowding against you,'' his disciples answered, ''and yet you can ask, 'Who touched me?''' But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, ''Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.''

We see in this story that, in the middle of an impossible situation, to receive God's commendation we need to exercise faith. In fact, this woman teaches us four things about what faith looks like.

Let's pray
Dear God,

It’s been a long week. We need you now more than ever. We ask that you would direct our hearts and minds towards you, and fill us with your Spirit, bringing refreshing, renewal, peace, and joy. You remind us in your word that you are faithful to carry our burdens. You tell us that you will renew our strength, and you promise to give us rest as we come to you.

Forgive us for the times we have worked so hard to be self-sufficient, forgetting our need for you, living independently of your Spirit. Forgive us for letting fear and worry control our minds and for allowing pride and selfishness to wreak havoc over our lives. Forgive us for not following your ways and for living distanced from your presence.

Thank you that your ways are far greater than our ways and your thoughts far deeper than our thoughts. Thank you that you had a plan to redeem. Thank you that you make all things new. Thank you that your face is towards the righteous, you are close to the brokenhearted, you hear our prayers, and know our hearts. Thank you for your daily, powerful presence in our lives, that we can be assured, no matter what we’re facing, your heart is towards us, your eyes are over us, and your ears are open to our prayers. Thank you that you surround us with favor as with a shield, and we are safe in your care.

We give you praise and honor for your ways are righteous and true. We give you worship for you are holy and just. We will declare that your love stands firm forever, for your lovingkindness endures forever.

Father in heaven, I stand before You today in Your omnipotent presence to ask that You grant me strength. I want You to give me the strength and power through all of the tasks today — whether little or big. It is by Your will that I live oh Lord. And I know it is also by Your will I will not go weak today. I will not go lazy nor will I will fail to do all things set before me because You strengthen me. Thank You for Your everlasting presence Lord and in Jesus’ name, I pray.
