π₯ RHEMA FEAST β DAY 2 | SESSION 4 π₯
Speaker: Apostle Michael Orokpo
Theme: REBUILDING THE WALL π§±π₯
π Main Scripture: Nehemiah 2:17
Β«βCome, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.βΒ»
This session brought a powerful revelation: God is a builder, and He is raising builders who will participate in His construction.
Rebuilding is not merely about repairing physical structures. God is rebuilding men, the Church, families, communities, nations, and spiritual systems.
π₯ 1. JESUS CHRIST MUST BE CLEARLY REVEALED
π 1 Corinthians 1:16β23
When Jesus is truly revealed, men are transformed.
The goal of ministry is not simply to make people admire a preacher, a church, a gift, or a movement.
The ultimate goal is to reveal Christ.
When Christ is revealed:
- Identity is restored.
- Lives are transformed.
- Purpose becomes clearer.
- Men are changed.
- Kingdom values are established.
𧱠ANYBODY CAN BECOME A BUILDER
You don't need a title to become a builder.
You don't have to be a pastor, apostle, prophet, or worship leader to participate in what God is building.
Anybody who submits to God's purpose can become a builder.
π 1 Corinthians 3:9 calls us βGod's fellow workers.β
π 1 Peter 2:5 describes believers as living stones being built into a spiritual house.
π THE KINGDOM APPEARS WHERE SONS APPEAR
Where mature sons emerge, the purposes of the Kingdom become visible.
God is not merely looking for people who attend church.
He is raising sons who understand His heart, His purpose, His values, and His ways.
---
ποΈ 2. THE REBUILDER IS ALWAYS GOD
π Psalm 127:1
Β«βUnless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.βΒ»
This is one of the most important principles of rebuilding:
We may participate in the building, but God is the ultimate Builder.
Without God, we can build structures without establishing His purpose.
WHAT IS GOD BUILDING?
π€ A. GOD IS BUILDING MEN
π Hebrews 1:1β3
Jesus Christ is the perfect revelation and reflected image of God.
God's desire is not simply to build institutions. He is building people who carry His nature, character, image, and purpose.
The greatest building project is a transformed human life.
βͺ B. GOD IS BUILDING HIS CHURCH
π Matthew 16:14β18
Jesus declared:
βI will build My church.β
The Church belongs to Christ.
We participate, but Jesus is the Builder.
ποΈ C. GOD IS BUILDING JERUSALEM
π Nehemiah 2:17
Jerusalem represents a place of God's purpose and testimony.
The rebuilding of Jerusalem was not merely about stones and walls. It was about restoring identity, order, worship, security, and God's testimony among His people.
ποΈ D. GOD IS BUILDING ZION
π Psalm 102:16
Zion speaks of a spiritual reality associated with God's presence, government, and dwelling.
God is building a spiritual people who can carry His presence and demonstrate His ways on the earth.
These are nations, people, and spiritual realities under God's construction.
---
π₯ THE PURPOSE OF GOD IS GOD
Everything God does ultimately points back to Himself.
Jesus Christ is the reflected image of the invisible God.
π Hebrews 1:3
Christ reveals what God looks like in character, nature, authority, and purpose.
There was a time when nothing existed outside God, yet God existed in Himself.
Creation is therefore not about making God complete.
God is building so that what is in Him can be revealed and expressed through what He creates.
---
β οΈ NAKEDNESS IS NOT BEAUTY β IT IS SHAME
True spiritual beauty is not simply exposure or outward appearance.
There is a difference between being visible and being glorious.
God wants His people clothed with Christ, character, holiness, wisdom, and His nature.
Our greatest covering is not what we wear externally but who Christ is forming within us.
---
π JESUS IS THE REAL ROLE MODEL
The Church must be careful not to make celebrities, ministers, musicians, or leaders the ultimate models for believers.
Our ultimate pattern is JESUS CHRIST.
People can inspire you.
Leaders can teach you.
Mentors can guide you.
But Jesus must remain your standard.
Look at Christ.
Follow Christ.
Become like Christ.
Reveal Christ.
---
𧱠GOD BUILDS ON ONE FOUNDATION
When God builds, He builds on one foundation: CHRIST.
π 1 Corinthians 3:11
Β«βFor no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.βΒ»
You can have talent without Christ.
You can have money without Christ.
You can have influence without Christ.
You can build an organization without Christ.
But if Christ is not the foundation, the structure cannot fulfill God's ultimate purpose.
---
π₯ WHY IS GOD BUILDING?
1οΈβ£ GOD WANTS TO HAVE A HABITATION
God desires to dwell among His people.
He does not want to remain merely an idea that we talk about.
He wants a people who become His dwelling place.
2οΈβ£ GOD WANTS TO MANIFEST
π Psalm 102:16
When God builds, His glory becomes visible.
What God builds becomes a platform for His nature and glory to be revealed.
3οΈβ£ GOD WANTS TO ESTABLISH HIS GOVERNMENT
π Psalm 110:2
God's Kingdom is about His rule and government being expressed through His people.
Where God builds, His order, authority, righteousness, and values are established.
4οΈβ£ GOD NEEDS A CHANNEL THROUGH WHICH TO REVEAL HIS WAYS
God desires to make His ways known through people who submit themselves to Him.
We become vessels through which His wisdom, character, love, and truth are revealed.
5οΈβ£ GOD WANTS TO INSTALL VALUE SYSTEMS
God is not only building people; He is establishing Kingdom values.
He wants righteousness, holiness, truth, integrity, love, justice, wisdom, and obedience to become visible in society.
---
π οΈ WHAT MUST I DO BEFORE I BUILD?
1οΈβ£ BUILD ACCORDING TO GOD'S PURPOSE
π Exodus 25:40
Β«βAnd see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.βΒ»
Don't build simply because you have the ability.
Build according to the pattern.
The question is not only:
βCan I build it?β
But:
βDid God ask me to build it, and am I building it according to His pattern?β
2οΈβ£ CHRIST MUST BE THE FOUNDATION
π 1 Corinthians 3:11
Before you build your ministry, career, business, family, relationship, or future, settle the foundation.
CHRIST MUST BE THE FOUNDATION.
Because when the foundation is right, the structure has a chance to stand.
π₯ WE ARE NOT JUST CALLED TO ADMIRE WHAT GOD IS BUILDING.
WE ARE CALLED TO BECOME BUILDERS.
The question is:
What is God asking you to build?
And even more importantly:
Are you building it on Christ?
𧱠REBUILDERS ARE ARISING!
