We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Rt. Rev. Nathaniel Garang Anyieth, retired Bishop of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan.
Bishop Nathaniel Garang Anyieth faithfully served the Church and the people of God with humility, dedication, and unwavering commitment.

Throughout his ministry, he shepherded many souls, strengthened the faith of believers, and contributed greatly to the growth of the Church in South Sudan and beyond.

Even in retirement, he remained a father, mentor, and spiritual guide to many. His legacy of faith, service, and leadership will continue to inspire generations.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, the clergy and faithful of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan, and all who mourn his passing. May the Lord grant him eternal rest and comfort all who grieve.

It was a great honor to witness The Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, Archbishop and the Primate of the Anglican Church of Kenya, meeting with The Most Rev. Moses Anur Ayom Anur, Archbishop of Jonglei Internal Province and Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Bor, who was accompanied by his delegation.

Their meeting focused on strengthening unity between the churches, promoting peace and reconciliation and enhancing cooperation in ministry and community development.

May this partnership continue to inspire harmony, brotherhood and the advancement of God’s work in our region.

The Rt. Rev’d Daniel Awan Manyok Aluong, Diocesan Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Athooc, today attended the inauguration ceremony of the newly appointed chiefs of Leek Ajak Section of Angakuei, Baidit Payam.

He offered prayers and encouraged the chiefs to serve with wisdom, unity, and integrity for the peace and development of the community.

Congratulations to the new chiefs as they begin this important responsibility. May God guide them in their leadership.
