FIVE STONES OF FAITH: WHEN GOD USES THE UNLIKELY

"Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd's bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine." — 1 Samuel 17:40 (NIV)

The story of David and Goliath is one of the most powerful demonstrations of faith in the entire Bible. While armies trembled and experienced warriors stood frozen in fear, a young shepherd stepped forward with confidence in God. David saw what others saw, but he believed what others refused to believe. He knew that the size of the giant did not matter when the power of God was involved.

Before David ever faced Goliath, he had spent countless hours alone with God in the fields. He was not developed on the battlefield; he was prepared in secret. The victories he experienced while protecting his father's sheep built the faith that would later defeat a giant. God often prepares His people in hidden places before He reveals them on public platforms.

When David approached the brook and selected five smooth stones, he was not acting out of fear. He was acting with wisdom and preparation. Faith does not ignore responsibility. Faith trusts God while taking the steps God has placed before us. David's confidence was not in the stones, the sling, or his own strength. His confidence was in the Lord.

Many believers today are facing giants of their own. Some face financial struggles, others battle sickness, anxiety, disappointment, or impossible circumstances. These giants seem intimidating, but they are not greater than the God who stands with His people. The same God who empowered David is still working in the lives of believers today.

The enemy wants you to focus on how big your problem is. God wants you to focus on how great He is. Goliath measured victory by physical strength, but David measured victory by God's faithfulness. The battle was never truly between David and Goliath; it was between the power of God and the

Isaiah saw it in vision:
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning…
You who said in your heart:
‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’”
Ezekiel heard the lament:
“You were the anointed cherub who covers…
You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
till iniquity was found in you.”
Revelation names the number:
The dragon’s tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth.
Two hundred of the highest order — the Watchers — fell with him.
They descended upon Mount Hermon in the days of Jared,
swore an oath,
and took the daughters of men.
The Mesopotamians called them Anunnaki — “those who from heaven to earth came.”
The Hebrews called them bene ha-Elohim — “sons of God.”
The Greeks would later call them Titans.
Same beings. Different tongues. Same lie.
They taught forbidden knowledge and mixed their seed with dust.
The offspring were the Nephilim — the gibborim, the mighty men of renown, the giants whose footsteps shook the valleys of Canaan.
The Anakim, the Rephaim, the Emim — all remnants of that first hybrid plague.
Goliath of Gath was the last public echo, nine feet nine inches of living proof that the bloodline had survived the Deluge.
The Most High answered with water the first time.
He bound the two hundred in chains of darkness beneath the earth, as Enoch was shown, and as Peter and Jude later recorded:
“God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus and delivered them into chains of darkness, reserved for judgment.”
Yet the dragon was only wounded, not slain.
He became the Serpent in Eden,
the Accuser in Job,
the Prince of the Power of the Air in Ephesus,
and the god of this age who blinds the minds of those who do not believe.
Every reset since has been his attempt to finish what began on Hermon 🙏

Satan doesn't have to work hard to convince people that there is no God he already has done that it's easier to believe a lie than the truth. Jesus has already conquered death took the keys from hell and he has resurrected yet people still follow and believe a liar rather than the voice of Truth which is Yahweh.

The Untold Story of the Men Who Carried Joseph’s Bones for 40 Years

There are stories in Scripture that thunder.

David facing Goliath. Moses splitting the sea. Fire falling from heaven. The empty tomb.

And then there are stories hidden quietly in the dust. Stories so overlooked that generations read past them without ever noticing the weight they carried.

Literally.

Somewhere between Egypt and Canaan… through burning deserts, through hunger, through funerals, through rebellion, through forty years of human failure, there were men carrying a coffin.

Not for one day. Not for one week. For forty years.

A box of bones.

And almost nobody talks about them.

Yet those unnamed men may have carried one of the greatest physical sermons in the entire Bible.

Because every mile they walked was preaching something:

God keeps His promises.

Even after centuries.

Even after death.

Even when all that remains are bones.

Exodus 13:19 says:

“Mosheh took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.”

The Hebrew text says:

וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה אֶת־עַצְמוֹת יוֹסֵף עִמּוֹ

“Vayyiqqach Mosheh et-atzmot Yosef immo.”

Literally:

“And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him.”

The word for bones is “עַצְמוֹת” (atzmot).

But in Hebrew thought, bones were not merely leftovers of death. Bones symbolized essence. Strength. Identity. The enduring frame beneath temporary flesh.

Joseph was dead. But his testimony was still alive.

And now somebody had to carry it.

Imagine the scene.

Egypt collapsing in chaos. The night of Passover. Families rushing. Children crying. Animals moving. People gathering unleavened bread before dawn. The nation finally escaping slavery after more than four hundred years.

And in the middle of the urgency… Moses stops for bones.

Not gold. Not weapons. Not Egyptian treasures. Bones.

Why?

Because Joseph had made them swear.

THE BLOOD OF CHRIST REMOVES SIN COMPLETELY ✝️
📖 Hebrews 10:4,12 (KJV)
🌟 INTRODUCTION
Under Israel’s program, animal sacrifices temporarily covered sin, but they could never fully remove guilt forever. In this Dispensation of Grace, God revealed through the Apostle Paul that the blood of CHRIST completely paid for sin through His finished work on the cross. The cross is not partial payment — it is perfect payment. 🙌
1️⃣ THE SHADOW OF ANIMAL SACRIFICES

Animal blood was only a temporary covering under the Law.

🔥 CONCLUSION
Animal blood only covered sin temporarily, but the blood of JESUS CHRIST removes sin completely forever. The Law revealed sin, but Grace reveals salvation. The cross is the greatest demonstration of God’s love, justice, and mercy. ✝️

There was once a man named Book of Job Job, living in the land of Uz. Scripture describes him as “blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil” (Job 1:1). He was not only wealthy in possessions, but rich in faith.

Job had seven sons and three daughters. His household was filled with joy, and his children often gathered together in celebration. Yet even in times of happiness, Job remained humble before God. After every feast, he would rise early in the morning to pray and offer sacrifices for his children, saying in his heart, “Perhaps my children have sinned against God.” Job continually interceded for them with love and reverence.

God Himself was pleased with Job’s righteousness. But Satan questioned Job’s faithfulness, claiming that Job only loved God because he had been blessed with riches, family, and peace. So the Lord permitted Job to be tested.

And suddenly, suffering entered Job’s life like a violent storm.

In a single day, messengers arrived one after another with terrible news. Raiders stole his oxen and donkeys. Fire consumed his sheep. His camels were taken. His servants were killed. Then came the deepest wound of all: a mighty wind struck the house where his children were gathered, and all ten of his sons and daughters died.

Everything Job loved on earth was taken away.

Yet Job did not curse God.

Instead, he fell to the ground and worshiped, saying:

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked shall I return;
the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
— Job 1:21 📖

Even in unbearable sorrow, Job chose trust over bitterness.

But the testing was not yet finished.

Satan struck Job again, this time attacking his body with painful sores from head to foot. His suffering became so severe that he sat among ashes, scraping his wounds with broken pottery. Those around him could not understand why such pain had fallen upon a righteous man.

Even Job’s wife, overwhelmed by grief, said

A MASSIVE, ENRAGED LION FELL INTO A DARK PIT ON A FREEZING SNOWY DAY. ANY NORMAL MAN WOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY. THIS WARRIOR JUMPED INTO THE HOLE TO FIGHT IT. 🦁⚔️❄️

Not all biblical heroes fought their battles with harps and quiet prayers. Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada, was one of the lethal black-ops mercenaries in King David’s personal guard. His military resume in 2 Samuel 23 reads like an action movie script.

He struck down two of Moab's fiercest warriors. He killed a massive Egyptian giant by snatching the spear right out of the giant's hands and executing him with it. But his most insane feat happened in the dead of winter.

A raging male lion had fallen into a deep pit on a snowy day. The combat conditions were an absolute nightmare: freezing temperatures, slippery terrain, zero mobility, and a cornered apex predator in a confined space. Benaiah didn't wait for the lion to starve. He didn't call for backup. He physically jumped down into the dark pit and annihilated the beast in single combat.

What is the result of not running from impossible odds? When Solomon took the throne, he promoted Benaiah to Supreme Commander of the entire army of Israel. Heaven promotes the warriors who are willing to jump into the dark pit while everyone else is hiding in the snow.

THE MOST RUTHLESS MILITARY EMPIRE ON EARTH SURROUNDED THE CITY. THAT NIGHT, A SINGLE HEAVENLY OPERATIVE DEPLOYED INTO THEIR CAMP AND EXECUTED 185,000 ELITE SOLDIERS IN ABSOLUTE SILENCE. ⚔️🌑

The Assyrian Empire was the ultimate military meat grinder of the ancient world. King Sennacherib besieged Jerusalem with 185,000 elite, heavily armored shock troops. He sent psychological warfare letters to King Hezekiah, mocking the God of Israel and promising total annihilation.

King Hezekiah didn't rally his troops for a su***de mission. He took the enemy's letter, walked into the Temple, laid it out on the altar, and requested a divine military intervention.

God's response was swift and devastating. He didn't send an army of angels. He only needed to deploy one.

2 Kings 19 records that "that night the angel of the Lord went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the Assyrian camp." There was no clash of swords. No screams. This single, multidimensional entity walked through the enemy camp and executed a biological shutdown on a massive scale. When the sun rose, the surviving Assyrian king looked out over a silent desert completely blanketed by 185,000 corpses.

Stop exhausting yourself trying to fight your battles with human pol1tics, arguments, or revenge. When you surrender the fight to the Throne Room, heaven’s artillery can dismantle your enemy while you sleep.

Before you call yourself a prophet do you know that the prophet Isaiah was cut in half for the GOSPEL we are enjoying today...

Before you call yourself a apostle, do you know that Apostles John was thrown into a pot of boiling oil, for the same GOSPEL. Apostle Peter was crucified upside down and that is how the early Christian had died...

They died without building a big church but they won souls for JESUS...

Today there are many who make themselves apostles, prophet, bishop, pastor but do not know the value of that name.

Nobody wants to die for the GOSPEL today. I keep asking, are these people really servants of God or of themselves?

So never think your calling is a way to just make money. Remember your calling is for GOD, in winning souls, not just making to get wealth that many big miniseries do nowadays!!!

HOW THE APOSTLES DIED.
1. Matthew
Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, Killed by a sword wound.

2. Mark
Died in Alexandria, Egypt , after being dragged by Horses through the streets until he was dead.

3. Luke
Was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous Preaching to the lost.

4. John
Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge Basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution In Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered From death.
John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison Island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos . The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve As Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey . He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully

5. Peter
He was crucified upside down on an x-shaped cross.
According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die In the same way that Jesus Christ had died.

6. James
The leader of the church in Jerusalem , was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his
enemies beat James to death

Sometimes the people who hurt you the most are the very people God is teaching you to forgive.
The world says, “Fight back. Get revenge. Make them feel your pain.”
But God says, “Do not repay anyone evil for evil.” — Epistle to the Romans 12:17
Stephen was surrounded by angry people. Stones were thrown at him, hatred filled the air, and death stood before his eyes. Yet instead of cursing his enemies, he prayed for them. That is the power of a heart surrendered to God.
Forgiveness is not weakness.
Choosing peace is not cowardice.
Walking away from revenge does not mean you lost.
Sometimes the greatest victory is keeping your heart pure while others try to destroy you.
There will be moments when people misunderstand you, betray you, insult you, or even try to break you. But never allow someone else’s darkness to remove the light of Christ inside you. Let God fight your battles while you continue to do what is right in His eyes.
Remember this:
Revenge may satisfy the flesh for a moment, but forgiveness brings peace that lasts forever. God sees every tear, every pain, and every silent battle you endure. In His perfect time, He will bring justice, healing, and restoration.
So today, choose kindness over hatred.
Choose prayer over revenge.
Choose grace over anger.
Choose Christ over your emotions.
Because the strongest people are not those who throw stones…
but those who still show love after being hurt.
