📚 A school that form souls before careers.

This week, Immaculata TV sat down with the Principal of Kenya’s leading and only traditional Catholic school, Holy Holy Cross Catholic International School. Clifford Ondeko.

For almost a decade, Mr. Ondeko has worked fervently to promote the academic and moral life of the school. And through his efforts, those of the Priests, teachers and students, the school has continued to dominate top positions in various facets in the Cambridge Curriculum.

The school is under the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX).

🎶 What is Gregorian Chant?

Gregorian chant is the ancient, official music of the Roman Catholic Church, developed over many centuries and named after Pope Gregory I.

Gregorian chant is music that has been formed through 2,000 years of Catholic tradition, elevating the Liturgy of the Mass.

This kind is sacred music is not performative but prayerful, sung in Latin and in a monophonic tone focusing on sacred text.

In the New Liturgy, the music is noisy, disorderly, void of sacredness and simple unworthy of the Mass. We must worship God in music in a manner pleasing to Him!

🍿 Enjoy this beautiful Gregorian Chants from Holy Cross Catholic Church - Latin Mass Kenya here: https://youtu.be/Xvd_ysuX2yo?si=mzoR5ZCFLHzhcoT9 and listen to them sing every Sunday at the 11:00Am High Mass and Feast Days/Solemnities.

Maundy Thursday, The Feast of the Priesthood.

After having eaten the Paschal lamb, Our Lord with profound humility washed the feet of His apostles, exhorting them to practice the same humility and charity; afterwards, He gave them His Flesh and Blood under the appearance of bread and wine, for spiritual food and drink, thus instituting the Must Holy Sacrament of the Altar, the Sacrifice of the Mass, and the priesthood; for when He said to the apostles: Do this in commemoration of me, he ordained them PRIESTS.

today begs the question in one of the most polarizing conversations in the faith today-can women be ordained to the Priesthood?
