🎅Warm Advent greetings to you all.🎅

We are pleased to share a pictorial highlight of today’s powerful service. As Christians worldwide gather to commemorate the birth of our Savior, our theme for the day was "Rebirth with our Savior," drawn from Isaiah 9:6-7.

✅️Sermon Highlights:
â—ŹFirst Service:
Evangelist Dennis Amiani opened the theme with a spirit-led teaching on the divine titles of Christ as prophesied in Isaiah. His message provided a profound definition of the power and authority of Jesus Christ.

â—ŹMain Service:
Pastor Joel Ingoi led the congregation in a reflection on God’s promises and His enduring love. He reminded us that Jesus is the true reason for the season, calling us to celebrate through acts of love and sharing.

â—ŹThe service was further uplifted by a moving period of praise and worship that fostered a deep, intimate connection with the Holy Spirit.

📢 HURUMA DAY: Celebrating Our History & God's Faithfulness! 🎂

​Yesterday, we paused to celebrate our annual commemorative event, aptly named HURUMA DAY! It was a powerful reminder of our journey.

​The celebration was marked by a profound session led by our Presiding Clerk, Bro. Timothy Yedah who guided the church through a reflection on our origins. Our senior members delved deep into the history of our sanctuary, recounting the foundational moments that established our house of prayer. 🙏

​Our History Timeline:
​2006: The church started from scratch, driven by the vision of a few dedicated Christians who carried that dream through numerous hardships.
​2013: Friends Church (Quakers) Huruma was officially recognized as a LOCAL CHURCH under Kariobangi Monthly Meeting. 🔑

​Today, that initial vision has transformed into a tangible reality!

​The Presiding Clerk, current leadership, and the entire church membership expressed heartfelt appreciation to our pioneer members through beautiful speeches. The spirit of unity and God's faithfulness over the years was symbolized by the sharing of cake, enjoyed by everyone from our elderly members down to our QCP babies. 👶👴
Shared a meal together and gave all glory to God.

Hello brethren,praise be to the Most High! ✨

​Our hearts are still overflowing with joy and gratitude following yesterday's powerful Thanksgiving worship service. It was a day dedicated entirely to celebrating God's boundless grace, and the atmosphere was truly electric with the presence of the Holy Spirit.

​✅️Highlights for yesterday's service;
â—ŹThe service was marked by a vibrant display of faith and appreciation. Testimonies ran throughout the congregation as every faithful member cheerfully and uniquely expressed their gratitude to God. We celebrated the visible, mighty works of God that could be seen and felt in every single person in attendance.

The music ministry was truly anointed, with songs that perfectly resonated with the day's theme of thankfulness.

✅️​Embracing the Season🎄
​As we move toward the close of the year, the Quality Control Performance QCP(Sunday school) offered a beautiful showcase, using dance and song to remind us of the hope and blessing carried in the upcoming Christmas 🎄 season.

✅️​The Power of Thanksgiving
​Sermons delivered by Ev.Alex Mugovelo & Snr/Pst.Mark Yabwetsa respectively for First and Main sessions uplifting and timely reminders of the profound importance of cultivating a consistent spirit of thanksgiving.

We were encouraged that thanksgiving is essential because it:
●​Strengthens our prayers and deepens our connection with God.
●​Is the ultimate expression of gratitude to our Creator.
●​Cultivates a joyful, thankful spirit in our daily lives.
●​Is also beneficial for our physical and mental health.

​Thank you once more for your presence and participation in this.
