✨ Sermon: The Power of Worshiping God ✨

📖 Text: 2 Chronicles 20:21-22

Today we were reminded that worship is more than just singing - it’s a mighty spiritual weapon! 🔥

1️⃣ Worship Shifts Our Focus - Just like King Jehoshaphat, we learn to lift our eyes from the size of the battle to the greatness of our God. 🙌 “The battle is not ours, but the Lord’s.”

2️⃣ Worship Invites God’s Intervention - The moment Judah began to praise, God moved. He still dwells in the praises of His people today! 🕊️

3️⃣ Worship Brings Peace - Even before the problem is solved, worship silences fear and fills our hearts with God’s peace. 💖

💡 Real-Life Testimony: In the Congo, a small church surrounded by rebels chose to worship instead of fear. God sent His angelic army to protect them - and the enemy fled without a fight! 🙏

🗣 Declaration: “Lord, You are greater than our battles. We choose to praise You in the storm, knowing victory belongs to You!”

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, we held a vibrant and spirit-filled C.E.D Sunday Service under the theme “Significance of Christian Education for Believers’ Spiritual Growth.”

All C.E.D groups - Sunday School, Star Cadets, Cadets, Battalion, CMF, CWF, and CYA - ministered powerfully through songs & scripture. Each presentation reflected the beauty of growing in Christ through Christian education.

The service also included a special Holy Communion, reminding us of Christ’s sacrifice and our unity as one body.

We thank God for a successful and impactful service!

SERMON
TITLE : “Maturing in Christ through Christian Education”

Theme: The Significance of Christian Education for Believers’ Spiritual Growth
Text: Colossians 1:15-28

The sermon emphasizes that Christian education is essential for every believer. It is not just about gaining Bible knowledge, but about growing into spiritual maturity and becoming more like Christ.

Key Points:
1. The Mandate – Proclaiming Christ:
All Christian teaching should lead people to a deeper relationship with Jesus. Knowing Christ is the foundation of true spiritual growth.

2. The Method – Admonishing and Teaching with Wisdom:
Christian education includes both correction (admonishment) and instruction. It helps believers apply God's Word in real life and live righteously.

3. The Mission – Presenting Believers Mature in Christ:
The goal is to raise spiritually mature Christians who reflect Christ’s character and can stand firm in their faith.

Illustration:
Just like a seed needs water, care, and nourishment to grow into a strong tree, believers need consistent teaching and discipleship to grow in faith.

Application:
1. Commit to regular Bible study and devotion.
2. Participate in church learning platforms.
3. Be both a learner and a teacher—disciple others.

Conclusion:
