While Christ's birth is a historical event, translating into my life is a choice I have to make.

My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you…” (Galatians 4:19)
I must allow myself to be a Bethlehem for the saviour to be born, by being born again - John 3:7

The evidence of the new birth is that I yield myself so completely to God that “Christ is formed ” in me. And once “Christ is formed ” in me, His nature immediately begins to work through me.

Is the nature of God evident in you?
Today my friend, you can make that choice, you can yield yourself to God by being born anew. Then Christmas will take on a whole new meaning.

Today, I hear the Spirit of God says:: In this season, people are more likely to compromise the truth and be like everybody else than at any other time. This is the time when even those who are called by my name, the very elect lose their identity. They will not inquire of me in what to eat, what to buy, where to go, which company to keep. Yet they will use such cliches like, " the reason for the season"'. If truly I am the reason for the season, wouldn't you want to know what I really want? So I hear the Lord say, remind my people not to copy the behaviors and customs of this world, but to be a new and different person, with a fresh newness in all they do and think. Then they'll learn from their own experience how my ways will really satisfy them. (Rom 12: 2)

A good time to remember what God has done for us. He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of the son he loves. Colossians 1:13
This son has reconciled all things by making peace through his shed blood on the cross. It was for this very reason he was born. He deserves our worship.
Oh come let us adore him Christ the Lord.
