Do you feel burdened and Weighed down by the difficulties of life?... Perhaps you’re striving for holiness, righteousness, job, the perfect grade, the ideal relationship, success at work, or maybe even acceptance from God.
In (Matt.11.28 - Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.) Jesus’ voice breaks through the sound of our heavy breathing. “I will give you rest,” he says. What an offer! .......it doesn't matter how heavy the burdens are or even how dirty you are, he is ready for you.

WE ARE A PRODUCT OF OUR THINKING

Prov.23.7 - For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. "Eat and drink!" he says to you, But his heart is not with you.

Phil.4.8 - And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

If we want to be spiritually stable, we need to learn how to think about the right things.This is not a suggestion, but a command to Christians.
By adopting the right thoughts, we will develop a habit of dwelling on what is right and good.
The battle today is that our contemporary culture is much less interested in thinking about what is true
and right,it is inclined in how we feel and what seems to work for us.
Even in the Christian world nowadays, it’s sad to say that it's s not always whether an issue is right or true,but it is about whether it will divide or offend. What is happening in many churches today is that people are going there not to think or reason about the truth of God, but to get a weekly spiritual high, so they can feel that God is still with them. Consequently, they are spiritually unstable because they live on feeling rather than on thinking.
Friends, we must not be victims of our feelings.
Our minds are the greatest treasure we have in terms of the gifts of human life..... Let's think the right thoughts.

Mark.1.35 - The next morning Jesus awoke long before daybreak and went out alone into the wilderness to pray.

The way you begin your day determines the spiritual direction it will take, Before reaching for your phone or becoming busy with responsibilities, spend time with God.
A strong prayer life begins by consistently putting Him first..... kindly remember that practice, practice makes perfect.

1Pet.1.7 - These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

When gold is placed in the fire it doesn't become gold but it proves that it is gold, the fire doesn't destroy it, it refines it therefore the hotter the fire the brighter the gold shines,on the other hand a stone placed in the same fire may crack and break apart but gold comes out purified and more valuable than before.

The same happens in a christian life......trials, difficulties and seasons of pressure reveal what's within us......what's built by human strength alone eventually fades away but what God establishes can't be destroyed, Human plans may fail, human glory may disappear and human achievements may pass away but what God has ordained will stand the test.

In Luke 11:21-22 Jesus declares His absolute authority over Satan and evil, It reveals that the devil (the "strong man" who is heavily armed) holds captives in a false sense of peace, until Jesus (the "stronger man") overpowers him and sets the captives free, those who follow Jesus are assured of Victory.

Luke.11.21 - For when Satan, who is completely armed, guards his palace, it is safe--
Luke.11.22 - until someone who is stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings.

The Bible says that the devil roars like a lion.........He roars like a lion, but he is not the Lion, He is like a dog trying to imitate the sound of a lion.......a deceiver a trickster and a fraud, who survives through fear and lies.
He masquerades and pretends, that is his specialty
So don’t be afraid of a fake when you have the Original.
Don’t let fear stop you from moving forward God is with you.

Gal.5.1 - So Christ has really set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law.

As we celebrate MADARAKA DAY let me take this opportunity to remind believers that through the Calvary sacrifice our Lord and saviour jesus Christ set us free from the bondages of the so many religious Laws so that we can worship freely.
