Proverbs 3:5-6
[5]Trust in the lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
[6]Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
When we have important decisions to make, God is a better judge of what we want. Bring your decisions to God in prayer, use the Bible as your guide; and then follow God's leading. He will direct your paths by both guiding and protecting you.

Exodus 17:8 The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim
9 Moses said to Joshua, "Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands.
10 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill.
11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning.
Moses understood that life has two sides, both the Spiritual and the physical. As long as his hands were up, the lsraelites were winning but whenever he dropped his hands the Amalekites were winning.
If you want to win any battle, whether poverty, sickness, infirmities, insecurity, immorality, or corruption, you must not ignore it's Spiritual angle.

[15]And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
[16]Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
[17]And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

1 John 3:1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
2. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. We are God's family and knowing that we are His children should encourage us to live as Jesus did.

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.
Psalms 40:2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
Psalms 40:3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.
Waiting for God to help us is not easy, but David received four benefits from waiting. 1. God lifted him from his despair. 2. God set his foot on set his foot on a rock. 3. God gave him a firm place to stand. 4. God put a new song in his mouth. Often blessings cannot be received unless we go through trial of waiting. Don't despair wait patiently. [28]Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
[29]He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
[30]Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
[31]But those who trust in the lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

Romans 8:1-2
[1]So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. "Not guilty; let him go free" What would those words mean to you especially if you were on death row? It's a fact that the whole human race is on death row. Without Jesus we would have no hope at all. But thank God, He has declared us not guilty and has offered us freedom from sin and power to do His will. He's extending His hands to you, to receive this verdict of "not guilty" only if you say yes and agree that indeed you are guilty.
