OLD SCHOOL EDITION ~ Sunday Service

Effective Fervent Prayer Of A Righteous Man by Pst. Gideon Solonka

Main text: James 5:16

- Prayer is something that is continuous, it stays with you all day. (It is a habit)

- The Prayer of a righteous Man is dynamic and it works.

- The Prayer of a righteous Man avails much.

- Jesus was constantly in Prayer (John 5:19) ~ His mind & spirit were always connected to God.

- When we are holy before God, we shall be the head and not the tail. ( Abandon evil ways)

- Jesus needed nothing when he prayed, but it was simply a way to connect with God.

- PRAYER is setting a solitary time to enjoy the Power of God.

- If we want to overcome the world, we must PRAY without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

- There is no substitute in PRAYER.

- You cannot achieve PRAYER in Singular if you abandon the word of God. (Acts 6:1-4)

THE MAIN THING IS TO KEEP *PRAYER* THE MAIN THING.

HOW WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED? - Dorcas Life Of Charity (Acts 9:36-41)

Dorcas was a giver. She was well loved because she had such a tender heart for those in need.

1. Rise Above Your Limitations
- There were many things she could not do but she did what she could.
- Don't ever belittle the little things that you can do because in many cases, it is the small things that occupy the biggest part in people's hearts.

2. Value Faithfulness Even In The Little Things
- Do not wait for the perfect time to start doing good.
- Follow through what you started. (What little things has God given you that you can be faithful with?)

3. Live A Legacy You Want To Live Behind
- A Legacy can be principles we lived that carry beyond our lives.
- A Legacy could be people we have influenced whose lives are better off as a result of knowing us.
- A Legacy can also be possessions that we place in the hands of others.

Most of us don't get to choose when or how we're going to die; but we can decide how we're going to live and what we're going to leave behind.

God has placed you where you are for a REASON. As you embrace the example of Dorcas, no matter how small it is that you do, it will display the beauty of Jesus Christ in you and through you.

Baptism Service Highlights.

When we are raised out of the Water, we are symbolically resurrected - raised to New Life in Christ to be with Him forever, born into the family of our loving God. (Romans 8:16)

GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT (Numbers 12:1-10)

Dangers Of The Murmuring Spirit
- Complaining often masks a selfish desire for attention, status, or control rather than a concern for truth.
- God takes personal offense when people tear down others through gossip and bitter fault-finding.
- Miriam's punishment temporarily halted the entire community's journey, showing how a critical spirit delays collective forward movement.

Overcoming and Rebuking Murmuring
- Choose Humility: Replace jealousy and entitlement with a gentle and submissive heart toward God’s leading.
- Guard the Tongue: Purposely choose words of gratitude and peace instead of criticism and rebellion.
- Seek Forgiveness: Acknowledge fault quickly when caught in bitterness and invite God to cleanse the heart.
