It will be a moment of thanksgiving, a moment of praises a moment of dedication.....
This far we say it's Embenezar.
Come and join us in thanking our Almighty God for this far he has brought us in 2025 and commit 2026 to Him.

1 Kings 18; The story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal is actually a powerful illustration of what it means to truly connecting with the altar of God—both literally and spiritually.

Connecting with the God' Altar simply means;
-Coming humbly and faithfully, trusting God’s power—not our own.
-Being open to His presence and purification, even when it’s uncomfortable.
-Rejecting idols or anything that steals our devotion.
-Allowing God to transform our hearts through genuine encounter and worship.

This inspiring message was shared by God’s servant Lr. Evelyne Muthii, with blessings from our Vicar Rev. Sammy Mbote. Let’s seek to connect deeply with God’s altar in our own lives today.

Leviticus 25:8–54 and Luke 4:15–20 speak deeply into the theme of liberation, restoration, and justice in proclaiming the "year of the Lord’s favour."

Leviticus 25:8----- reminds us, when celebrating the year of jubilee, it is a time when:
- Debts were forgiven
- Slaves were set free
- Land was returned to its original owners
- The land itself was given rest

According to the Gospel of St. Luke; The Year of the Lord’s Favour isn't just an ancient concept or a future hope but a reflection of present days to those with Christ. It reminds us;
- God’s heart is for freedom, justice, and restoration.
- Jesus came to break chains of bo***ge in spiritually, socially, and economically.
- We, as His followers, are invited to live out and extend this Jubilee by bringing hope to the oppressed, release to the captive, and justice to the accused.

What a message of hope!!

Thank you to Our Guest Preacher

Today, we were joyfully hosted by our teens under the theme: “A Faithful Servant, A Fruitful Mission.”

The service was beautifully graced by Rev. Capt. Jane, who ministered with wisdom and grace leaving a lasting impact on both young and old.

At St. Julian’s Parish, we remain deeply committed to nurturing young talent and empowering the next generation in faith. Together, we continue to build a vibrant, Christ-centered Junior Church

As St Julian's the Hospitable family, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our own Mr. Danson Njogu to his recent licensing as a rayleader. This is a significant milestone and we are truly grateful to see how God is elevating him for greater service in His vineyard.

His dedication, humility, and servant heart have been evident and we are confident that God will use him mightily in this new role.
Lr Njogu, as you step into this position of leadership, may the Holy Spirit continue to guide and empower you, granting you wisdom, strength and grace to lead with love and integrity.

We celebrate with you and look forward to the great things God will accomplish through your ministry.

Genesis 12 reminds us that God is the author of the journey. He calls, He guides, He protects, and He keeps His promises. Like Abraham, we may not see the full picture, but we walk by faith—knowing the One who called us is faithful.

1.God Called Abraham Personally
“The Lord had said to Abram, ‘Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.’” (Gen. 12:1)

2. God Guided Him Faithfully
“...to the land I will show you.” (v. 1)

3.God Protected Him Powerfully
As Abraham journeyed, he encountered danger, including during his time in Egypt (vv. 10–20). Even when Abraham acted out of fear, God intervened to protect him. Why? Because God was committed to the promise He made.

4.God Made a Covenant with Him Permanently
“I will make you into a great nation... and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (v. 2–3)

Today, after sharing in the holy communion, we are reminded of the call in Galatians 6:2 — “Carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” As we partake in Christ’s body and blood, communion connects us not only to Jesus but to one another. As He has lifted us in love, so we are called to lift others—with kindness, patience, and grace.

The love of Christ compels us to walk alongside each other, to lift the weary, comfort the broken and be live reflections of His grace. May our communion lead us to deeper compassion and a commitment to love in action.
