Please, Be very very kind to church workers/ volunteers (worship leaders, ushers, protocol team, ushers etc) when you meet them on Sunday or if you’re in close interaction with them daily.
❤️🩹Some of us have probably had the worst night of our lives, yet dragged our feet to Jesus, to serve Him.
❤️🩹Some of us leave sick children back home, leave houses that we haven’t paid rent, and who knows, we might find a padlock on our door from the landlord.
❤️🩹Some of us are coming from abusive homes, and have been battered and emotionally abused by our Significant others the entire night, but we come to find solace in the house of God. A sparrow has found a nesting place.- Psalm 84:3
❤️🩹Some of us are not in good terms with our parents or spouses , just because we are serving and leaving the house so early for ministry.
❤️🩹Some of us have anxiety and fear of what next, but we still come to the house of the Lord because he has promised to satisfy us with the goodness of His temple. - Psalm 65:4
❤️🩹Some of us are so so discouraged, but we come to serve because we know In doing so, he shall reward us, because service to God is never in vain. Just like David, we continually encourage ourselves in the Lord.
❤️🩹 Some of us came to church with literally our last coin, trusting God for provision for as little as transport to go back home. Food in such circumstances is a luxury (I’ve been here).
❤️🩹 And some of us, are just overwhelmed by the weight of the heart to God towards His people and ministry. We just want a shoulder to lean on. Don’t be fooled by the nice outfits and Make up!
Be that Shoulder.
Don’t be the reason someone cries while serving and people think they’re actually worshipping the Lord in tears 😭😅
Not every tear in a service is from the anointing—sometimes it’s our careless words adding to a burden already carried.
Please, Be very very KIND.
