CONFESSION IS KEY
King David says he was tormented, he greatly suffered because he kept quiet about his sin
Psa 32:1 ISV How blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Psa 32:3 ISV When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away by my groaning all day long.
Psa 32:5-6 ISV My sin I acknowledged to you; my iniquity I did not hide. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin!
1Jn 2:1 ISV My little children, I’m writing these things to you so that you might not sin. Yet if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus, the Messiah, one who is righteous.
Jesus came to take away our sin, not to bless us only. Tell him about your sin.
1Jn 1:9 ISV If we make it our habit to confess our sins, in his faithful righteousness he forgives us for those sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
Mat 4:17 ISV From then on, Jesus began to announce, “Repent, because the kingdom from heaven is near!”
REPENT! Ask forgiveness, and that brings you closer to God.
Psa 32:6 ISV Therefore every godly person should pray to you at such a time. Surely a flood of great waters will not reach him......
