Our Mission is anchored in Titus 2:3-5 –“Tell the older women to behave as those who love the Lord should. They must not gossip about others or be slaves to wine (addictions). They must teach what is proper, so the younger women will be

loving wives and mothers. Each of the younger women must be sensible and kind, as well as good homemaker, who puts her own husband first. Then no one can say insulting things about God’s message” (Word in Life translation).

What words can be used to describe our mission in Kakuma.... The LORD manifested Himself in ways that we cannot explain, it just needs to be experienced. Each day, God revealed Himself, meeting every need and every provision. Godly Woman Africa - GWA humbled herself under the mighty Hand of God. The passion we saw in the women and girls, the hunger and thirsty for God's word, the for mentorship was high and we are trusting God to help us so that the seed we planted may be nourished, germinate, sprout, grow and beat fruit. For all who stood with us in finance and prayer, it was not in vain. God knows why He sent us to pioneer this mission and we surrendered to His will. Pst. Eugene Mbatha, we are grateful for all the partnership and support. May the LORD bless you for all the work you are doing in Turkana. This was a mission like no other. Thank You Jesus for accepting to use us as Your vessels. All glory be to God Almighty.

Godly Woman Africa - GWA Turkana Mission was one of a kind. Ministering in Lodwar, getting an opportunity to visit Lake Turkana (formerly known as Lake Rudolph) was awesome. The wailing women gathered and witnessing confession and repentance for not mentoring the younger generation as should be was a very humbling experience and there was a great awakening and birthing. Thanks be to God that Christian Mentoring has been strongly revived among the women attending the conference. All the handbooks on Mentoring the African Christian Woman were bought. It is time for Christian women to arise and fulfil Titus 2:3-5 and 2 Timothy 2:2. Mentoring is a command for every Christian believer. Let us obey and grow to be more Christlike.
